This photo also shows a pronounced "boat tail" look on the rear hatch (like a C7 has without Z51/Z06/GS spoilers).

Again, I think there is a LOT of stuff that we're not now seeing. The car may be butt ugly when revealed, I prefer to be half full.....

This shot shows the faux panel on the side scoop really well.

Here's a shot I `shopped that shows part of the shape of the real side scoop under the fabric camo.

I agree with this. I stated the sides were fake from the first Ring photos and it wasn't taken too kindly. Now there is sufficient evidence that they are.

What a surprise, LOL, that the majority of this forum did not like the rendering. And let us guess, did 90% of those end up getting a C7?

As yes, thanks Yogi Berra, we will again experience deja vu all over again... This time for the ME.

How'd they do (other than getting EVERYTHING wrong)?

That's it. That's the scoop I saw on the real C8. I had not seen this spy photo before or I would have posted it.

I am trying to figure out the images shown. I do not see what Dan has photoshopped in the first image?

In the rear shot, is the thinking that the scoop dips below the door ridge at the rear as shown? Not sure how this would look. I know Zaro and Pimp say it looks awesome...Trying to figure it out. If not, then it terminates at the ridge like my last rendering?

All character lines still lead me to this sketch except the back window. And the jury is still out on the rear roof line.

I saw this image back in May when the mules first hit the streets. I used the brightness/contrast tools to reveal the shape of the scoop under the fabric camo.

It was visible in the original photo, but the darkness of the fabric area concealed it. I only noticed it because the brightness on my monitor was turned up at the time and I saw the body line.

I've done nothing else to the photo.

Thanks Dan,

In that case, I see what you mean. Others have seen the same line. It is difficult to tell "exactly" the shape. In the photos it looks curved like a C2 side shape,,, but Zaro said it was more angular and others have said it was the V shape from the C8R. !!! : 0

From the rear image, the shape looks to bulge below the door ridge at the rear.? If not then it is closer to the rendering below as Zaro said.

Obviously this is an important area of the car and "should" have been scrutinized and perfected. The witnesses all say it is amazing so I am excited to be surprised. !

I believe it will look much better than the rendering but "think" the rendering gives a fairly good idea of the basic form and some features and stance.

Here's my original interpretation of the shape of the inlet. The outline upper part is pretty clear to me, but the lower part is obscured by the taut fabric. Your rendering above may be correct.

Here's an earlier rendering you did based upon the shape above.

^^^ Thanks Dan. I remember that.

It does look like there is a thick "frame" like outline around the scoop but I am unsure how that would be executed.

It will be very interesting to see it revealed. I am looking forward to being surprised.!

I believe the horizontal ridge that runs along the middle of the door continues as the top line of the inlet, similar to Dan’s drawing. I think the triangular piece that appears to be another layer higher on the door gets smaller and is only a fender top detail.

Of course it's a "mule". The point is that it's a LaFerrari mule, not a 458 or something like that.
