Default Chinese posts

I keep seeing lots of Chinese language characters appearing in posts. Are others seeing the same thing? What’s going on here?

That was a forum software change to improve page load times.

Improved Image Loading - Images uploaded through our post editor's uploader or directly to the gallery will now use a technique called lazy loading. What this means is that when you first open a thread, images will load in at a quicker low resolution, then 'fill in' to the higher resolution. This helps to speed up overall load times as it doesn't try to load every image in full at once, plus minimizes the "jumpiness" of infinite scroll in image-heavy threads.

Not quite a hack. Some sort of DDoS, I’ve dealt with these in the past on forums. They are looking for security vulnerabilities. The site should increase authentication protocols (or block that domain/IP/region).
