I think the intake looks like this. Within that circle is the beginning of the intake like the yellow line in my picture.

Great sketching, but wow if that's what the C8 is gonna look like, major disappointment. Looks like its trying to look like many other hyper exotics. A dated design already.
Again assuming IF that's what it will look like, it'll no longer be a car that is instantaneously identifiable as a "Corvette". That aspect of the legacy is gone. Shame.
I bet GM designers are still trying to design a good looking side scoop for all the reasons mentioned. So they glued on camo stuff to have a version just to get it out on the road.
My question is why are we even seeing the car this naked. This is unlike any other Corvette reveal we've seen before. It's always been heavily clad, even with evolutionary changes rather than a change this big. It's not like CFD and wind tunnels have gotten worse.
