Will C8 interior accomodate a 6' 4" male?
As a past C5 and current C6Z06 owner, I am concerned that the C8 interior should not exclude me from being a customer, like the C7 does. With the C7, my shins hit the underside of the dash at the same time as my head hits the back of the roof, which has excluded me from being a C7Z06 customer. Will Corvette exclude me again with the C8? I hope not. Otherwise, Corvette is forcing me to continually upgrade my two-generation-old C6Z06 in order to be able to keep a midengined C8 at bay. Hint, this may be less expensive than purchasing your new C8.

Surprised you do not fit, am 6'4" 255 and fit great in my daily driver ZR1. Got to use the seat adjustment correctly however. What I did. Move seat all the way forward with seat back all the way forward. Then adjust the seat to its lowest position. then move the seat back leaving the seat back forward until it stops, Then adjust seat back until it hits the wall and stops. Move seat about 1-2 inches forward, adjust back again towards wall and you should fit. You get some extra room doing it this way.

Depends on where your height is. My height (6'2") is in my torso so I have issues with headroom. In my C6 with the seat back all of the way back against the wheel well, I have about 3/4" headroom. I had to get rid of my '03 Z06 due to bouncing my head off the roof. Forget a helmet.

Depends on where your height is. My height (6'2") is in my torso so I have issues with headroom. In my C6 with the seat back all of the way back against the wheel well, I have about 3/4" headroom. I had to get rid of my '03 Z06 due to bouncing my head off the roof. Forget a helmet.

A 6th gen Camaro ZL1 would stomp your C6 at the track and do it for a lot less than a C8. The Alpha chassis rocks, I have an ATS and it's the most fun I've ever had driving my "winter car."

Armchair Architect - Perhaps Corvette should be more customer inclusive with the C8. After all, according only to Autotrader listings, Chevy dealers still have 21 new 2016 Corvettes on the lot, 331 new 2017 Corvettes on the lot, 718 new 2018 Corvettes on the lot, and around 3000 new 2019 Corvettes, all sitting unsold on the lot. Again, this is only the Corvettes that dealers have advertised on Autotrader. A friend of mine recently bought a new 2017 Z06/Z07 package at $30,000 off list price.

Life is full of compromises. I'm short. I don't attract nearly as many women as tall guys (just look at the dating sites, and what the women are looking for). However, I fit comfortably in any vehicle made, so I look at it as a bit of a blessing.

You hate to have to chop up a brand new car, but I gotta imagine some very low race seat would solve that issue.

ps. I participate in a lot of sports, I ride mountain bikes, motorcross, have sports cars. And as a kid I wished I was giant, I'm so glad I'm of average height so I can fit into my sports better!

Also, the C7 inventory has nothing to do with what size people the car fits. Well known that C7 sales are sluggish now because the car has been around for some time and people arent buying because theyre waiting for the C8.
Id recommend buying aftermarket seats that are down to the floor, as someone else suggested.

If you think the C7 excludes you then someone didn't show you how to use the power seats correctly. I'm 6'5" and have no issues even on track with my helmet. The full power seats have travel limiters. You have to move the seat forward first then get it all the way down. If the seat is at all reclined it will touch the wall behind it and stop moving before you can get it down and back... as such, many taller folks think they can't fit.
I have told this to GM at the bash a few times.... I read so many people saying they can't fit in a C7 and people see me and ask "How do you fit in that C7?" all the time. I fit fine... not stuffed in fat-man wishes he fits... but actually fit.

Wanting to fit isnt narcissitic?! Biggest gripe with vettes period pick a Gen.
Especially if you need a helmet for the track. Any vette Ive had winds up having the visors removed.

So I swapped to OEM 2013 seats which while better, still limited by room. Then I figured out the little trick above, and making a point to not tilt the seat base back, and for the first time I'm not running my seats as far back as possible.

The answer is..., it depends on how that person is built, how long their legs are, how long from the waist up they are, and whether they weight 180 or 280.
I saw a post here from person who said that he fit fine in his C7 at 6’ 7” and 220, yet another person who posted that he was 6’3” and said it was impossible to fit in the C7 at all — and though he tried his friend’s C7, he was going to therefore stick with his C6. All seemed to me to be honest/accurate posts.
As to what is coming, will the C8 have less room, the same amount of room, or even a touch more room, that will be again be hotly debated even after the reveal. Guessing, we will have many more threads excoriating GM because person A does not fit, yet others saying, “I am 6’ 4” , and I weight 230, and I fit just fine commuting daily in my C8.”
Sorry OP, we cannot answer your question accurately short of your later sitting in the C8 and telling us how it fit you.
