Will C8 interior accomodate a 6' 4" male?
#21
Though I could fit in the C7 I also found it wasn't nearly as comfortable for my 6'4" frame. I owned my Z06 for about a year then sold it as I just tired of being cramped in it. Had no issues with my C5/C6. Wouldn't take much extra room so here's hoping the cockpit is at least a tiny bit more spacious. Maybe the mid engine format will help with that.

C7 > disable bulkhead limit switch for increased leg room

I'm 6'2" 196lbs.... Considering the C8's configuration,... I can hope the interior will be something like a Ferrari 488 I have driven... Plenty of head & leg room, due to no engine / transmission up front.
Just a PITA to get in & out of it.

I have no clue, and neither does anyone but a few GM and supplier employees that have actually sat in the thing.
I've never understood why if OEMs go to the lengths to offer seriously bolstered "race" seats in cars, they also don't go the extra step to offer a couple sizes. Heck, the BMW motorcycle dealer offers a couple different seat heights that are dealer swappable options, it wouldn't be that hard for GM to offer a standard sized, and a +1 and -1 option (at least on the drivers side), either as a line option on customer ordered or a small stock of dealer swappable for dealer ordered ones.

As a past C5 and current C6Z06 owner, I am concerned that the C8 interior should not exclude me from being a customer, like the C7 does. With the C7, my shins hit the underside of the dash at the same time as my head hits the back of the roof, which has excluded me from being a C7Z06 customer. Will Corvette exclude me again with the C8? I hope not. Otherwise, Corvette is forcing me to continually upgrade my two-generation-old C6Z06 in order to be able to keep a midengined C8 at bay. Hint, this may be less expensive than purchasing your new C8.
older crowd out or even in and going for 38 regular 6 foot young types.
the C7 is cramped and the C8 will most likely continue this youth movement. the C6 may turn out to have been the last "roomy" Corvette, while the C7 will be the last FE, and the C8 may turn out to be the
last gas engine corvette.

Comp seats, GT Seats, Racing Seats, whatever. Honestly, what percentage of guys who buy Corvettes need super contoured, bolstered racing, seats? Almost none of us and that is the absolute reality. I remember the God awful seats in the C4s that I owned. They were horrible and I have no idea at this point what level of interior etc they were as I wouldn't drive one of those archaic jack *** carts if you gave me one. The standard seats I had in my C5s, C6s, and C7 Z06 were great, no complaints about any of them but I am also not a 5' 6" internet racing champion with a little man complex either.

My C5s and C6s were comfortable as sports car go with the "standard seats" that some of the Corvette haters seem to run all over. My C7 Z06 with the basic seat was acceptable but tight for someone 6' 3". Maybe a ME Corvette with a pint sized motor in the trunk like a 911 may have more driver and passenger room.

It's pretty snug in my C7. I'm 6'3", 245, and have the seat at the limit. My left leg sometimes hits the motion sensor/trunk release buttons if I'm not careful entering/exiting the car. As far as the C8, I guess we'll have to wait for the reveal to test fit. I'm going to do my best to shoe-horn myself into one. That's for sure!

But that's half the fun
