I've put$ down to be on the list!
It will be great car.

I bought 2014 Stingray then sold it to get 2015 Z06.

Not afraid to be Beta tester, had No problems with the Z!

Good point!

Recall when we changed brand names and machine color the plant was off limits even to salesman for 2 months! After we had 4 groups with two execs each visit distributor groups in 8 locations in the US in a two day new "brand" launch the plant was then open for training and tours!

Talk about a contaversey, we had three separate distributor groups at the time with many having their own exclusive brand! Had to tell them they all got the same new brand as of that data! Be like having a meeting with Chevy, Cadillac and Buick dealers and saying tomorrow you'll all be selling Saturns! Not quite as dramatic but some of the heated questions we had to field were interesting!

Cadillac went to NYC because Johan DeNyschen (Pres of Cadillac) wanted to live there - he is gone and so is NYC.

Working in the “big city” was bad enough! Said I would only live there if it could be in the brownstone near Central Park called the Frick!

That's assuming the ME rocks everyone's boat.. On the other hand (gulp) those remaining C7's could bring a premium..

^^
Expect my Grand Sport, which is the big seller, with an M7 will sell quickly for a good price when the “only DCT C8” is announced! In fact, it will sell quickly as I’ll put it up for sale about when I place my C8 order and as delivery gets closer the price will drop.

Lived for a number of months sharing my wife’s car (and driving my ProStreet Rod to the store to buy milk) when my C6 sold in one week in May 2013 well before I thought it would. Rented a car a few times when I had meetings in Charlotte. In fact have rented cars when I had my C7 and had to stay in Charlotte overnight for a meeting. It’s surprising cheap and not worth worrying about the Vette in a downtown parking lot!

Plant Tours will not resume until, at the absolute earliest, after the ME is revealed. There is a good possibility not even for months afterwards.

If they are not doing it now I don't see that happening only the manuals will do okay. Just too many being produced to bring any premiums.
