Oh wow; the ME looks absolutely terrific in this kind of a red. I sure hope Long Beach Red continues for another year!

Default Now for the bonus round

Now that the model is largely modeled, I can rotate it around in the same lighting rig. Here she is from the front.

Chazcron, what a beautiful looking car you have shared with us. Thank you so very much! I would love to have that car in my garage a year from now.

Love to see some shots without the black trim on the side scoop.
Great work as always sir!

Understanding the effects of foreshortening obvious in your rendering, it still gives me the impression the opening height looks a little too tall. Probably not, but IMO the ME’s grill will conform to the opening dimensions of the C7 thus ~7”H. It would give the best aesthetic appearance vs having the front plate looking short compared to the grill opening height. That was a serious consideration designing the C7.

By lengthening the nose it seems you prefer an engine in the front AND the rear!

^^^^^^^ Shaka, that grill opening height looks much better IMO.

EDIT: But FVS is right. I understand this is a work in progress.

Look again, I moved the windshield forward. Don't take it seriously. I'm just exploring. Nothing wrong with Chaz's render, but the car looks pretty awful from this view.

Shaka, I agree and believe that the front fascia is more pointed, similar to a C3.

Default Headed to Jalopnik

Two new renders I made for inclusion to a feature on Jalopnik. I can't wait for the haters.

Sorry, Kingpin. sideview yes, body colored side scoop trim, no. Maybe another time.

Chazcron. the lower drawing taken from the view from above the car seems to shorten the hood substantially. Is the perspective off a bit? Otherwise, great work!

Thank you very much Chazcron! Loving what you have done, and as per you comment above, I will be looking for your Jalopnik feature. I believe I know what it will be, and I do how how exciting it will be. Thank you so much.

I agree. It looks like the front nose will come to more of a point than any of the renders show. Great work on them so far though

Chazron, you do amazing work and you are very talented! I am not a hater but at some angles I am not loving it and in some angles I am. Some areas look a little too generic and/or awkward and some areas don't seem to flow perfectly. I know you're basically going off what limited facts you know about the design and trying to come off with your best guess as to what the actual car would look like. The good thing is that the Corvette design team has already designed the car and it remains to be seen how much more attractive or less attractive it would be from your interpretation.

I see all the renderings, looks great. Can you put those in a computer controlled 3D printer and print out a car? My brother is a graphic design artist, has a printer and makes all kind of things. Could you do this?
