I wish the whole video could look like this. Maybe in the next modeler. I also wish I knew what the engine compartment looks like.

Default New GT badge c8 side cove design hint?

Just saw the new GT badge patent that is speculated to be for the C8–any chance this might be a hint to the lines of the cove?

No, that was trademarked several years ago by GM for the Opel GT. This was covered in bdsvavars' thread. Looks cool, though. Not Corvette cool, but cool.

Maybe the engine will not be exposed to view and have a retractable roof like the new McLaren 720S Spider

Possible for the C8 Spyder version ?

The coupe's engine will be visible, the other one from Nurburgring is the retractable hardtop convertible.

Or, maybe the ME HT uses another type of top mechanism like that of the Chevy SSR, of course modified to show the engine.

Both of those videos are cool, are there any hints from the CAD drawings?

Previously we saw some shocks near the rear tailight we thought were for active aero. Maybe they're for the top?

I like your scoop better than what's indicated on the mule. This could mean that, heaven forbid, an amateur can design a car better than GM!

Yeah I’d agree. Scoop looks way better but I think those side body line character accents are still too pronounced and look awkward. If they were a little more subtle, it would look better.

Or, it could mean that they fabricate a "fake" piece which is attached to the mule, and then wrapped in camo.

Or... it could mean the lower "jaw" on the GM scoop is needed to make the scoop ingest enough air for cooling targets. Function over form. They can gussy it up with contrasting trim to give it a more rounded appearance if they so desire.

I wish someone would create a view that used this front end. The radiators are in front of the front tires, and it doesn't need a centered "grill". Besides we need someplace to put the license plate. I like this look.

its widely believe that the middle part will be an add on for areas that require front plates.

fvs did some good renders with that piece, though.

Just refuse to mount the front plate, if they complain stick it on with tape and then take it down.

Looks like Mclaren got their newest edition right.

Time will tell for Chevrolet.

great job,I’d be very pleased if the rear would look like that.
I believe it does have some C7 elements in its design.

Maybe try doing the front view from the inverted angle ,and roughly the same distance.(I’m sure it’s not easy...try to imagine every visual trick to make the snout appear longer)
Stepnose perhaps?

this top view is spectacular... if the side view is just as good.... how can they possibly sell this for less than 150k... im just asking... like a market comp if you were buying a warehouse or building, house etc.. near this ... how do you sell it for less that that?
