Melting Slicks
Knowing that the designers start off with a T-Spline model then refine the surface to a Class A surface utilizing the surface to mesh tool, It's amazing to see how close you are getting it.

No, serioulsy. I used a bezier spline modeler before that, so I understand 3D. Blender beta has a better user interface that's more intuitive and there are tons of tutorials and reference so all I have to do when I get stuck is google it and then grit my teeth and stubbornly push ahead until I mostly get it. Honestly, the hardest thing is rewiring my brain to all the keyboard shortcuts.

True that! And it looks like the ME, with what I suspect a wider center tunnel than the 488, will have significantly less foot room for three pedals. But will there only be two? And contouring your leg at the knee to rest it on a foot rest.
Sorry Chaz for the hijacks.

Hard to say about the footwells. My tiny Lotus Elise required some contortions to get in, but once in I had ample leg and footwell room with 3 pedals. I even had to move the seat forward a bit, and I'm 6'3". It was somewhat surprisingly a fun and comfy long-distance driver, albeit w/ very little storage space behind the engine and no front boot.

Chaz: Have you taken a close look at the rear quarter panel? https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ain-sight.html
I wouldn’t be surprised if you already noticed it, it seems you’ve spent a lot of time looking at that rear fascia photo.
Any thoughts on the apparent flared fenders?

This color, this size/resolution, 30 fps,14 seconds long, panel lines in place, Corvette logo and license plate out back, Corvette badge upfront and one full clockwise 360º rotation, I busted my tail trying to learn mapping and animation to pull this off. 432 frames to render at 1.5 minutes per frame. That's approximately 10 hours from now. Unfortunately, I'll be at work with no access to my computer until 6pm EST. I'll plop it into After Effects to do a gamma correction and add the logo and watermark, upload it to YouTube and post it here. The shape is roughly the same as the first white 360º, but the details and render quality are vastly improved.

This render is awesome! This car sitting in your driveway will have the visual effect of a Ferrari. But 70% of the forum might agree with your assessment and expect this quality, or better, with all of the technical ingredients for $65,000.

I added Stage 3 Winglets replacing the small Stage 2 Winglets to help integrate the look of the Spats. That and the larger ACS splash guards help, IMO. Didn't say they Spats look good, just better! Hope the C8 looks as shown with proper fender width and Winglets integrated in the design!

So here it is. I cleverly rendered to my Dropbox folder for remote access so I was able to complete it this morning. It came out pretty well.
