chazcron's 3D model work in progress

Crazy thought
Wouldn't it be nice if, since they've gone down the related thread road, they would randomize them? This thread below doesn't seem that related.

I've been studying the 'Ring shots again, trying to discern what is going on in the center of the grille. The front sensors, since they are there at all, will probably be in that exact spot or testing them would make no sense. Neither would having them float there. What are your thoughts on this interpretation, with the inner part echoing the shapes that appear elsewhere on the car? Here it is with and without a scale-guessed license plate.

I think the horizontal bars are fake. If you look at the leaked front fascia pic there are no horizontal bars, and if you look really close at some of the ring pics it appears as if they are tacked on & sticking out a little from the center part of the fascia.

the leaked fascia is only only the outer body panel nose part. It HAS to be filled with some sort of grill insert.
The horizontal wings could be splitters and may act as canards of a sort. I think they will be there in some form.
Chazcrons center grill treatmsnt is plausable.

I agree with you here, which is also why I think they are fake as they appear tacked on to the outside of the fascia. Camo is clearly wrapped underneath them where they meet the center portion of the fascia.

Melting Slicks
Those horizontal splitters within the main openings will most likely be there. There are aerodynamic reasons for them splitting the air inlet up into seperate inlets. Observing the new McLaren Senna front end, they also separate incoming air into brake vents and fluid cooling. The outboard inlets will serve two separate functions as drawn and explained by this Ask Tadge Question. They also have to design a center insert that will function as a license plate bracket for the states that require front plates yet still direct the remaining air to the existing center cooling function.

I think the horizontal bars are just part of the grill insert. I also think they will be black and not body colored. We shall see.

So I modeled the winglet and sensor, just a baseless guess, but I like it. They are featured here in Sebring orange.

I just wish GM was making an exotic with the C8 because the car to me right now is too high and not in line with what I thought they would do.
Who knows maybe this C8 we are seeing in camo is FE and the Zora or whatever it's called isn't even road worthy yet.
I was really hoping the C8 would be taking styling from the Corvette DP series.

I love your work, but why does the shape of the back end of the window differ so much from the shape of the side scoop? It looks like each was designed by a different person and neither knew anything about the other's work.
Again, not criticizing your work, just thinking the two shapes should harmonize better.

I think from what we've seen your render is accurate.

A bit old fashioned, but I catch your drift.

Aerodynamic and functional differences.
