#855 is a fascinating view. I can’t remember any photos that hinted that the center of the rear surface extends like that. I can see how that shape would improve the effectiveness of the two rear vents. Terrific work Chaz. I’m absolutely getting my money’s worth.

I really believe that the smallest details make or break an auto design. Because he doesn’t have access to these details it is impossible for Chazcron to be able to incorporate what he doesn’t have in his design. With his hands tied like this I am really amazed the model looks so good!

I don't give a rat's arss what "shaker" or anyone else says, chaz, you're awesome, and I appreciate all the time and effort you're putting into mocking up these models/renders. Keep up the great work!

Nice work, Chaz,

I’ve been hesitant about the C8, because I am not a huge fan of he C7, mostly the rear end. However, if the real car is just half as nice as your rendering, I’ll be ready to order mine as soon as my dealer can place orders.

Just wish we had some tid bits to render the interior on. I really like the layout of the 2020 911 interior.

I have a feeling the actual car will have a similar silhouette as some of the renders here but will be far more attractive! That's how design works. Subtle differences in basically the same style makes all the difference.

I like it, but I believe the ridges on the Frunk lid would have a slight curve to match the fender line, rather than straight lines.

Chaz,

Nice work. I enjoy seeing it.

Ignore the spitballers - the rest of us hold a sufficiently centered perspective to appreciate what you're doing.

Love this render setup. I added a shiny floor. And I used better tire model and added bump-mapped sidewall graphics. Don't complain about it being Goodyear, it was the only sidewall graphic I could find.

Default Conflating Chazcron's Skill with Opinion About the Design

Disapproval of the design that is emerging from the outstanding work from Chazcron in NO WAY reflects on Chazcron. He's clearly very skilled and generous to share those skills with the forum. I believe that his renderings are likely accurate and depict the C8 as we'll see it when it's revealed.

But that doesn't mean the accurate render reflects an attractive automobile and design worthy of the Corvette name.

That sure as hell ain't Chazcron's fault.

We know your opinion all too well. Why do you feel the need to keep repeating that you don't like it probably 100 times now? It's also clear that you are in a distinct and tiny minority. Please give it a rest, it's beyond boring.

I wasn't addressing my opinions about the car in that post. I was addressing the difference between criticizing Chazcron and criticizing the design emerging in his work. And I've said this before and hope I won't have to be boring by repeating it again: I will give NOTHING "a rest" and I will post any damn time I feel like it on any subject that suits me. Unlike many of you, I will not engage in personal attacks.

Iron V, I’ve always respected and will always defend your right to your opinion on disliking the likely styling of Corvette C8.. I’ve always understood your assertions, and that it’s not a reflection on me or my renders.

Any renderings of what the new cupholders will look like?

I have it on good authority that the cupholders will be squared circles like the exhaust…
