Nice pics in that Flickr Album. For inspiration take a look at this artist, Tom SanSoucie below. At Carlisle Corvettes in ‘14 I bought his ‘14 C7 Laguna Blue Coupe rendition I think airbrushed. The other sites has many other artists as well. I suspect you know all this but just in case. And posted here for other CF members too..

So I kind of know where and what kind of lights to use. Another important aspect is finding the right car angle to render and how to get the lights to hit it right. I’m not always great at picking angles. Blender’s way of handling materials, i.e. car paint was hard to figure out at first. It is vastly superior to the program I was using previously. The paint is really glossy and luscious.

here’s a link to those car calendar images, and some other stuff :

Outstanding Chaz, I admire your work ethic, tenacity and talent. You also have high self esteem. The car still sucks though. What are the top 5 most beautiful cars ever built? Do you have your own designs. Thanks again.

It is written that car design, or any design for that matter, is related to opposite gender preference. The twist is that a sexy babe does not have to be beautiful. Brigitte Bardot is not beautiful but the the sexiest woman in all of history. Grace Kelly is perfect in everyway, but sexless. Cars are the same way. The C3 is the sexiest car ever made and an E Type the most beautiful. A 330 P4 Ferrari is both, like Ursula Andress.

The two most sexiest things in the universe. Did you know Brigette owned a Vette?

If you don't agree, it would account for your poor taste in automobiles.

Just noticed this pic in detail and saw something interesting. Look closely at the before and the highlighted in blue scribble. Sorry freehand on iPhone. If you look closely it looks like the sun is shining through the rear hatch and looks like a split rear window.

If a robot can do your work, your job is on the line. If a camera can do your work, your days are numbered. Now if your art is also an original design, a robot or camera can't replace you.

That would follow what is above and below the window, but it would be a shame, I'd rather see a full view of the engine than have something blocking the middle, unless there is some awesome feature they are hiding. There is another pic somewhere where you can see through the windshield and see light through the rear window. Anyone?

For the love of God !!....Stop posting that picture of that smoking hot Brigitte Bardot...in an era ,that ladies oozed in sensuality....It breaks my concentration for the rest of the day,and I can’t get anything done.

Now you’ve even got me in the C3 section of the forum looking for a 1968-1973 stingray....

I ran across this rendering this morning and the artist nailed it. He clearly has someone on the "inside" feeding him highly classified information.

Maybe to highlight the turbos resting on either side of that bay? Maybe it's part of the aero/cooling features? Less glass=less weight.

I get it now. If the trunk is at the back, it is the brunk. If it is in the front, it is the frunk. Get used to it, this is new ME talk.

For those that remember Chris ColoradoLV and his C8 renderings this looks very close to his work.

No. If it's in the rear it's still a trunk. But if you buy your c8 across the ocean, the frunk will be the boot and the rear engine cover will be the bonnett.

Yes, but he also got the scoop wrong.

That pic is here https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-the-mule.html & could appear to show something down the center of the rear window as you can see through the right side?

This shows the SUVs lights very close to the centerline. Would have to be a very narrow split. Still don’t see the logic to a very small split rear window.

That piece looks smaller than what the other evidence suggests.
