I'm sure the aerodynamics dictate much of the design of the side scoop, but I still do not understand why the two shapes (scoop and window) have to look like they came off two different cars. I'm very confident that the GM designers did a good job and these features look more harmonious on the real C8.

Chazcron, you are very talented, but I think the real car will look even better than your beautiful art work.

Yes, he has! Very nice. Black wheels, and it would be hot!

I'm very confident they will too. Shadow Gray Metallic is a mighty fine color, don't you think? It is quite elegant. It is not a unique angle, just a little different than the last one. And chock full of imperceptible adjustments. My next plan is to polish the rear taillights.

WOW! Shadow Gray Metallic just moved to the top of our list. Couple it with a Spice Red interior, and other than with later wheel choice and caliper color choice, I am really excited with such a combination. To my gearhead wife and me, it looks like an classy, upscale car in that color.

Thank you so much Chazcron. The car looks absolutely great in that color!!!

The only regret is that it is not the ME being revealed at the Corvette Corral but instead a 2019 Special Edition.

That looks great the only thing I feel is off is that the front opening is way more than needed, the opening can be shorter.

I live in Texas and this car never has overheated, has 500hp, done track days in the summer too. Look how much less opening area in the front in relation.

Wow! Looks great in the Shadow Grey. My favorite C7 color and will order my C8 in it, should it be available. Is the BRM (Black Rose Metalic). IMHO a BRM ME will be over the top gorgeous and sinister at the same time.

BRM looks great on the C7 and surely would on the C8 as well. This color was the final tipping point that convinced me to buy a C7 over other options.

Jesus I love the 720S...I drove a 570S when they first came out, and a 650S Spyder the same day as comparison due to the "used" 650S costing about the same as the 570S. They called it used with 2300 miles on it and nearly $100k knocked off the price from new. Both cars were so much fun to drive, just too far out of my comfort zone in price.

The purple is nice but their molten orange color is simply the best color available.

Exotic looking cars don't cost $60k. It's a vette not a $300k Lambo folks. This will look a lot like the C7.
it's not a super car either for $60k. Super cars are not GM products.

Design is not a function of cost.

And tell that supercar stuff to all the supercars that have been spanked by the FE ZR1.

I would accept and embrace this as a Corvette. But, if we are lucky, the C8 will be even better looking. This is a Jaguar concept.

I'm working on a quality upgrade of my tail lights. So I'm using this as my base, I'll replace it with a new render in an improvised Black Rose Metallic with the improved taillights. They aren't a new design, just a more realistic take on my first go.

I really like those taillights, and would like them even if they are identical to the 2020 Camaro tailights. I especially like the way they are directional to the outside of the car (just as we heard from c7pimp six or so months ago).

Thank you very much Chazcron for your artistry. So nice. Car looks terrific in that color!

I really don’t like that wing. Looks soooo tacked on, which it literally may be these days.

Agreed that the wing is far from my favorite. But Chazcron is presenting to us what GM has presented to us. Maybe it will a) be an option, or b) like the first year C7, that there is another OEM spoiler option.

If not, the excellent ACS Composite will create a gorgeous aftermarket alternative.

Chaz: I was taking a look at patent images for the unnamed Cadillac Coupe and I noticed something familiar over the rear window.

Don't know if you’ve seen this

Design is a result of functional imagination! For a designer to create a work of function automotive art is exactly that: art! I have faith in GM's desigh team but am growing weary of the wait to see what they have in store for us.

Precisely why my next car may very likely be an older and “slower” exotic. I am seeking “next-level” styling after my C7. I’m growing impatient waiting to see what the end result of all this will be so I can pick a lane.
