Safety Car
Not a bad idea. Maybe a supercut with a camo, early render and latest render, followed by a few beauty pass movies. Because I’m making it up as I go along, I’m also fine-tuning it as I go along. And as I go along, I’ve noticed some of the body panels have developed a dented look, especially after cutting the panel lines. I’ve fixed many of the imperfections in Photoshop, but that gets tiring to do it every single time. And since I’m learning a new program at the same time, my skills are improving. So I’ve been going back and fixing my poorly modeled sections too. Being nearly a perfectionist can be a chore. Every new tutorial I find shows me how little I know about this program.
Thanks for the suggestion, Darien. I may take it on.

Only guy that speaks the truth. These were the last renders of his that showed any promise. He is going backwards. The car looks hideous especially when certain features are added that are a figment of the artist mind that can't possibly exist in the real world We are not learning anything and I wish he would keep his 'art' to himself. The nose is as high as the wheel. Jees.
You act like a 5 year old.. do you reread what you type?
Leave the thread if you don't want to look.

Would still love to see it in Miami Blue from the Porsche color line up with black wheels.
I think just the color change would show how exotic this car really is .
If it not to time consuming sure would love to see it in some more exotic colors like Miami Blue / Lizard Green.
The euro design teams seem much more comfortable with exotic colors than GM has ever showing.

Renders: reality vs beauty
Criticism of the design emerging in Chazcron's renders is not criticism of the render. It is criticism of the design itself.
Chazcron and our other resident artists are not trying to depict something you "like." They're trying to depict what the car actually looks like; I believe Chazcron's renders are extremely accurate representations of what the real thing will be.
It's perfectly rational to be simultaneously blown away by the excellence of Chazcron's work and repulsed by the design emerging from it.

Here's a random angle in white. It is my commemorative 250,000 thread views edition. Practically straight out of the renderer.

Is it just the angle, or have you widened it again? And yes, I also really appreciate all the effort you're putting into this.

Chazcron's work looks great. He is doing a fantastic job of peeling back the camo. Personally I really like the design except for the high nose. It reminds me of a Whale Shark gulping plankton. I really hope the nose is not as high as some of the depiction make it look. The rest of the car is nice!

Good eye. I had originally shrunk the width 90%. Then went back to 95% now I’ve gone back an additional 2% to 97% of the size I originally created it at. I roto-ed a front view and 97% seems to be the number.

It's obvious you don't like the car, but at least you aren't a dick to chaz about the work he has done on his render. Not everyone is going to like the car, but being a total dick to him just isn't called for.

I BELIEVE Chazcron is doing a great job with how it is going to look. Something I know I couldn't do. Looks like my post I made maybe the quote didn't get read ( which seems to happen a lot with posts, even original posts) or maybe I misunderstood what SHAKA was saying in his post.

Then he is not trying very hard.

OK, Darion, so here is my (first mostly) modeled render lined up with my current one.
Oh, and shut it Shaka.
OK, my wheels are a little big. What's the consensus for scaling them down for future renders?
It's funny, if Shaka was poking me for the renders having "donks" he totally would have been right.
