The little nub part of the white mystery panels to me look like that would be hidden by the rear bumper, that's why it's not a finished edge

Am I crazy?

if what I'm saying is true, that would imply this car is a lot more sharp edged than any of these renders. And also implies the side scoop doesn't really appear in the contours of the rear quarter panel, and mostly occurs in the door panel
The quarter panel area behind the door where it intersects with the rocker is about two feet wide. These photos show a panel about four inches wide which would match up with the space between the front of the door and the front wheel well.

Yeah I'm probably wrong

I just noticed the nubs in the mold where the headlights would theoretically go.

Yeah I'm probably wrong..

The height between the wheel well and top of panel seems pretty large tho but maybe it's just the angle of the photo

I aligned another shot today. It isn't a perfect alignment, but pretty close. Looks like the top of the nose and headlights need to come down. The hood cuts are a little off, and the scoop needs to be a little wider. Need to reshape the grille fins, too. Overall, my proportions are very accurate. I'm not sure why the mirror on the right is such an outlier. The black shape I made for the headlight seen on the left was a guess, as I couldn't really see it. I think I made that outline too tall.

Probably?

He proves it to you beyond any shadow of a doubt and you reply with "probably"?

what if these leaked fenders are cosmetic bluffs that cover the true shape? sheet metal screwed in and then camo covered.

They could easily just be some vacuum formed plastic fakes that get taped over the real panels. They would be super cheap and easy to make.

Yep, a little foam, gorilla tape, and wrapped in plastic w/ a wild pattern can work wonders in terms of hiding a car in plain sight.

Have you seen the car without camo up close? Didn't think so. I made a mistake while I was looking at it on my phone, I saw it on the computer and then realized I was probably wrong given the evidence provided against my claim

My point was if you look at the "front fender" spy shot leak with the 2 3d printed white panels, the "side" of the panel between the wheel well and the "top" seems very large to be a front fender. I'm on my phone right now so I can't post pics of what I was thinking but whatever. It doesn't matter

The perspective of the panels in that photo are strange, probably because they are laying flat while the picture was taken.

For example, the left panel in the photo looks like the front fender perspective wise, but the upper right panel comes across more up-and-down flat faced side shape, where the "headlight" almost looks like it's be on the side edge of the panel.. hard to explain. Whatever!

It could be just my eyes, but from the camo pictures it appears that the passenger side mirror stands out from the door quite a bit more then the drivers side mirror.

...the fenders actually were described as rear fenders by the Chevy Dude originally. He had no idea what he was looking at.

You are correct. The angles make the wheel to top fender distance look greater than it is because it actually sits at an acute angle on the car.

This is is the Internet. If you can’t jump down someone’s throat here for expressing an opinion, - Where can you... other than politics! ; )

Could be that due to its position and the drivers field of vision, it needed to be out further. Or, they just have a widebody spec one on the passenger side.

That is also my assumption that the angle of vision from the driver's seat warrants a longer arm on the passenger side. That is, if this is the production configuration.

Do any other MEs have it like that?
