NOW, if the FOB is really thick there could be a third silver trim in the middle. BUT that would make the FOB really thick, which I doulbt it is.

So you're not talking about the "b" vs "d" key ring hole, but rather the thickness of the fob? I'm also lost on the statement, "if the FOB is really thick there could be a third silver trim in the middle". Sorry man, I tried to follow on this one, but I'm totally lost as to what you're saying.

I understand what your trying to say crabby, and it would definitely apply if the key FOB were flat,
but in this case it seems thick...so in that case ,from a side view ,expect a triangular finish with the third line that you mention.

The C7 key is the same cheap plastic key...

And the Cadillac XLR debuted as a 2004 model along side the "long in the tooth" Chevrolet C5, and the Chevrolet C6 debuted as a 2005 model, the following year.

Word has been that the C7 will be around for a couple more years, so, if GM followed their past history, then the mid engine Cadillac would debut as a 2020 model along side the "long in the tooth" C7 and the mid engine Corvette would follow as a 2021 or 2022 C8 model..

Bringing out the Cadillac first, as an expensive mid engine, would allow for GM to recoup some of their huge capital layout quickly(as they would still be selling the C7 which has paid itself off) and then introduce the higher volume less expensive C8 mid engine Corvette.

The "fact's" support several ways that GM could release the cars for production. We will just have to wait and see what GM plans on doing.

That is an old key fob as Cadillac has not used the wreath for awhile now.

I hope the C8's Key FOB is much more substantial in feel and look.

No, my example is not incorrect.

The mirror image view is what you would see if you had X-ray vision and could see through to the back side. Of course the Cadillac logo and text would be backwards.

The purpose of mirroring one image is to demonstrate that the two images are opposite sides of the same object, which you dispute.

Let me try to put it another way:

Go outside and take a picture of the left side of your car. Now walk around and take a picture of the right side. How do you know both pictures are of the same car? The front tire is on the left in one picture, and on the right in the other! No matter how you rotate the pictures, the features never line up. Now take the mirror image of one - it doesn't matter which - and compare. They appear identical.

Got it?
