That's interesting. Except that the fob is upside down. And the design will probably shared with other GM brands.
So...no.

I think GM is like a kid at Christmas, they can't wait to show this thing to us! Take a page from Dodge, give us the exact date and place and then a weekly clue of something to keep us clicking on the website. Makes us happy instead of wondering when the hell the car will be introduced and loose interest......

Have read many who tried to explain......my turn
the hole for a key ring in one photo is on top of the little silver trim.
it’s also on top of the sliver trim when it’s supposedly turned upside down.
that’s not possible

It sure what some of you are seeing but I think it’s like one of those illusions where a box looks like it’s facing one direction then flips to another direction. Or those pictures where you either see a wine glass of two faces. I see the same fob. It IS the same fob flipped over. I was re reading the posts from the “different fob” guys and was trying to see what they are seeing. And I kind of get it. But they are seeing it incorrectly. The key ring hole is on the end of the fob and the hole goes all the way through to the other side( like it should). I think they are seeing that hole as being on one side or the other not on the end with the hole going front to back. I think the “box finally flipped”for crabby. Maybe this explanation will help the others.

Guys, there is nothing suspicious about the fob pictures from Jalopnik. The front and back case moldings are mirror images, which is how bilaterally symmetric objects work.
When superimposed, the front and mirrored back register almost perfectly. That's simply not going to happen if they were two sides of different objects, or the same side of separate fobs. Whatever you guys think you're seeing, you aren't.

Yeah, take the fob and flip it horizontally (Hor, and in around the axis formed left to right, like the horizon, or as my wife remembers it, (w)hors lay down). I.e., take hold of the top (up in the pictures), start lifting and pulling toward the bottom (down in the pic) it while holding the bottom in place. Let it flip over, viola, same item.
