ITS THE SAME DAMN FOB PEOPLE!!!!!! HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THAT? DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND GEOMETRY? look at the corners of the sticker on both pics both ends curl up. 1 FOB more than likely a decoy fob made by GM to throw us off, and be used in the mules as a "One off fob" only used for testing.

Wrong. You know those intelligence tests you had to take in junior high school? You had to visualize what a flat piece of paper with triangles on it would look like if you folded it into a box.

You'd never pass.

I certainly hope this post was a failed attempt at sarcasm, which rarely works on a forum.

Time for some people to come in here and eat crow but I doubt they will.

I can see my attempt at humor was a terrible failure.

The elephant in the room is that Cadillac logo on one side of that key FOB...
And,the shape of the car on the other side resembles the retractable top mule we’ve been looking at the past year...

I’ll take another stab at this...besides seems like we have more then 9 lives on the internet..

There won’t be 2 Corvettes(FE and ME)

The Y1 is the Corvette and Y2 is the retractable roof Caddy.( next XLR)

P.S if anyone has a good crow recipe ,please pass it on...I might have to take the first bite.
Hopefully I could get that bird tender with a Chardonnay marinade.

It was, because there's no way to tell the difference from others who are insisting if you don't leave a hint. I suspect this is the same excuse we will see in a few months when the C8 turns out to be an $80K car, not $169K, when there is no "double line" producing more than one model, and when the reveal is of a truly spectacular car. Then all these people who are insisting they are correct in their unsubstantiated predictions will be saying, "I was only kidding."

Come on now, how could that post have possibly been real? It was utterly nonsensical, just like the posts in the other FOB thread that I was satirizing.

Z, you got my Mea Culpa in this thread back with my post #97 which was in response to your post #81 (For that I thanked you in that post.) So when do you own up for being equally just as wrong as me. There you stated that: “It is essentially on the same plane as the rest of the FOB”. It being the key ring attachment on the FOB. By definition a plane is 2 dimensional only, thus 0 degrees deviation the entire surface. I could have pointed that out to you but didn’t. At that point I expressed my error with the 90 degees folded over and then adjusted it correctly to 45 degrees. Essentially in the middle between 0 deg and 90 deg. You helped me see that. THUS IT CAN BE CONSIDERED THAT WE WERE BOTH EQUALLY WRONG. But I thought worked it out.

On a personal note I’m disappointed in you as a CF Moderator, a good one by the way, being complicit with a host of others in perpetuating an insult on me and other members who were trying to contribute but were fallible in their analysis. It has now spread over to other CF Threads, some created just to continue what I feel is harassment.

What I meant was essentially on the same plane is the area circled:

I don't think that firstvettesoon's 3D model is totally accurate in that respect. I don't think the part is angled an anywhere near 45 degrees. Essentially the same plane does not mean that there is zero degrees of deviation.

You weren't the only one that thought the two fob pictures were two different fobs that could not be a single fob.

If you feel that you are being harassed, report the posts and let the moderators review it.

It seems that CF is an entirely different place than it was back in 13'. It was a blast scuntinizing and speculating about every little detail and not being criticized for our subjective viewpoints. I have always said that nothing stays the same, whether good or bad. I am with you Crabby.

So the 169k price is the cadillac then?

didn't he also say the emblem on the steering wheel wasn't what we would expect?

maybe it was a caddy emblem? And the car he's been in is the new cad ME?

where is this guy!

Thank You again for your support for me and the others. I still love Corvettes and CF Is my forum of choice posting ideas. And fear not I will always express my opinions here and do my best to never abuse others. Likewise, own up when my arguments are proven wrong

How are some of you smart enough to acquire the funds to buy a Corvette?

^^^^ I swear I ponder the same thought almost every time I get on this forum (or the internet as a whole). That said I still love this forum for most of its content.
