PurpleLion: “I think that this points to the possibility that the hood is not actually as flat as this image shows. If true, the front hood lip would be lower!”

This overlay, based on aligning to wheelbase, seems to show what you mean. I agree that the front lip on this render should be lower and if was extended out to line up with the Camo ME pictured with it, it would naturally create a lower lip more in line horizontally intersecting with the front wheel. Also the rear of the render looks to extend a little too far.

P.S. I do think this render is one of the best so far in accuracy of suspected exterior details.

Agreed, this render is one of the better looking versions, but it definitely benefits from Shaka's adjustment. At about 3-4" lower, we are good to go!

Yeah, that’s why sales maxed out the first year and have fallen off each year after.

Everyone is so focused on the scoop they're ignoring how beautiful the lines are in general. I don't care what the final shape of that scoop is, I know I'm gonna love the look either way

I think the side scoops will be further back such that there is no dangling 'triangle' on the doors.

Also, I hope the back is not as flat and boring as it looks on the camoed cars... it almost looks like an el camino from certain angles.

Hoping for the best though!

Ferrari and McClaren, two of the most beautiful car lines in the world, their ME's have curves, it makes the cars works of art. If GM tries to use the angles ala the C7 on the ME C8, it will be interesting to see, not sure if it will work. As many have said, hopefully, the mule was full of fake padding, and underneath is a Ferrari inspired body.

I agree. But Lamborghini is pretty angular and it works pretty good too.
