I wish it was a NSX as I would buy it. How is an ME car suppose to look like a Front engine corvette? You think the rendered drawing ( although very well done) is a good looking car and looks like a vette?

Default Wrong Tires

It won't have Continentals.

I can't say I'm a fan of the OP's rendering.

That looks really good. Any chance you could do one without the black scoop extension on the side? Would like to see how that would look. Thanks for the effort you put into these. It's really appreciated by all of us!

I'll take that in black.

Me too . . . by far my favorite, but it is becoming increasingly clear based upon the work of our talented modelers and renderers that it won't look much like this.

THIS. This I can get behind. Why? Its very close based on what's visible as of now on the camo cars. Everyone posting up those "hopes and dreams" renders have to cut the cord with them and look at this car right here. The camo cars, while hiding many details still, translate to this very well, and not at all to many of those other renders.

I've said it in this thread, and will again. Bsdvavars, FVS and Chaz have shown us the 3 most best renders as to this car's appearance. All other is vaporware.

Agree, I could grow to like something close to that as well. Small proportion changes in that basic design and other tweaks not visible under the camo will likely make it much more pleasing when the real deal is unveiled.

I also agree that BjŲrn, Chaz, and FVS are more than likely getting very close.

well if they still have time to tweak I say the best rule of thumb in design is when in doubt steal from Ferrari not Lambo.

Still like the automobilemag one WAY better than any other design I've seen. Didnt they have focus groups when designing this thing?

I think the tweaks are already there, we just can't see them under the camo, and there may be some fake pieces underneath meant to conceal the actual look.

Fingercrossed, because for me that side scoop placement is where they lose me. That needs to be placed further back like in the automobilemag one, so perhaps that side vent is a coverup but at those speeds be a tough piece to just tack on for disguise. We'll see soon enough I guess.

Great rendering job indeed. I hope the real deal appeals to me more because this version looks like a Hyundai or just about any other new vehicle out there.

New guy here ! own a 2018 SS Camaro Convertible... Work in sales at a Chevy GM dealership...waiting eagerly for the C8.. I am loving all these renderings but we need to see some black translucent roofs in these renderings... everyone is doing the painted roof and its likely going to be gloss black , as well the rear pillar is likely going to be black giving the illusion of of a near floating roofline from the side....

Beat me to it. That was my thought as well. If it looks like the Automobile render, its dramatic. Ready to buy. Now, letís talk about the sound of the motor!

Holy **** man.

That is by far the best render Iíve seen. Well done.

You might even want to post a new thread for that picture. Itís gotta be pretty close to the finished product.

Really like what you did with the light strips and the scoops.

Again, well done.

I have a feeling that the left side of the G in the GT logo is telling us something about the scoop shape, the lower right side of the G even has the same character lines as the doors.
