Default Updated 3D renders from bdsvavars

Here are a few new renders, i decided to try putting the gills behind the windows since it appears to me that they are hiding something there on the camo cars, i think it looks pretty good.

Once again, everyone wants to redesign the scoops on the sides.

I hope Chevy is listening. Maybe they can still fix it because no one seems to be loving the existing design.

Great skills OP!

I have a feeling the actual car would have similar styling cues but far more attractive than all the renderings because from all we've seen so far if the car looks anything like the renderings and assumptions then the car will be FAR from stunning or attractive IMO. Specially the rear-end (which looks like sh*t) and the side scoops.

None of the renderings so far are attractive enough to be called a Corvette. Hopefully the real car will be more like the C8R than any of the renderings so far.

Having seen the car, this is the most accurate render I've seen to date for the rear, and emphasis on the tail lights which no one seemed to be getting right. Headlights are still wayyy off though. Lots of features/body lines are incorrect as well, getting there!

Very skilled renders. I’m envious of your modeling rig and shaders. Your rear end will help me sculpt mine.

If you sent these renders to GM, and they built this from your renders, I would buy it. Looks great to me. The only thing I would change, and thats not to say that its right or wrong, would be removing one of the projectors.

Me thinks ... "bdsvavars" is a GM mole, ... in here to intentionally muddy the waters with misdirection, especially on the side scoop!

so far none of these renderings (while all great work by the respective posters) is anything to be excited about. None of them depict a revolutionary new design, in fact, most (based on the camo cars) look like very old designs. To be honest, I’ve loved Corvettes since I was a very little kid but minus a few models, the Corvette design has never screamed “oh my god that’s the most amazing looking car”. The initial base models are generally watered down plain versions of what could’ve been really awesome but retain just enough cool factor.

First year models almost always have ugly wheels, ugly steering wheels, cheap interior, etc. Then they come out with the better models, better wheels, upgraded (slightly) interiors & increased performance. It’s worked thus far why change now. This car will be very ho-hum but will sell because it’ll be a Corvette & in a few years we’ll get a better looking/performance version.
