GM proved they were pricing their cars reasonably with the ZR1. No one will pay $170k for a Chevrolet. If that happens: 1) they'll sell maybe 1000 2) I'm going to start scooping up special addition C6 and C7's with manuals because they won't depreciate if no one can afford the new car.

It's really sad that some troll started a rumor and it has had legs this long. There is no way that the entry level base mid engine car will be $170,000. And why the hell are they using a render that has been proven inaccurate based off of the pictures of the actual test mule vehicles? This place is bananas...

It's both good and bad! A C8 will be over $170K IMO but it won't be the base model! That makes no sense! Just like Porsche, Corvette would not survive if the base car started that high.
