How many times must we discuss this? YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING, NEITHER DO THE REST OF US!!! Quit trying to pass off your opinion as fact.

And you're sure about the fact that I don't know anything?

Oh, wait, wait... "Those who know something aren't talking, and those who don't know anything are" Got it.

I guarantee there are folks on here who know everything and are teasing it along.

I am joking. The C8 is coming soon - although it might now be a 2021 if it debuts at the NYIAS in late April 2019 based upon the typical 8-9 months between debut and going on sale.

2019 is the 6th C7 MY. Since the industry has become much more competitive over the last 30 years with many more choices, the average time between new gen models has shortened. The pressure to keep coming out with new models is much more intense now.

Please, do not feel bad. I did not intend to offend you. All you have is an opinion, just like the rest of us. Do not attempt to pass it off as fact. Dismissed.

Like I said in another post, the C8 will be a hybrid similar to the current Acura NSX.

They would have to do powertrain validation if they were going to put in a revised motor and the 10-speed auto or something. They have to do crash/cooling validation for fascia/body panel changes. They have to make sure it all works. We would see C7 mules running around with new powertrains... that hasn't happened. Just the C8 ME.
How many C6 mules did you see running around in your nearly 40 years of following closely Corvette development?

I do agree the upper level cars will have the Cadillac V8TT instead of the LT4 and LT5 for CAFE fuel economy reasons.
I wonder where everyone comes up with these prices for what it costs GM to build an engine.

Those costs are not even close to reality.

I love it when folks actually think the ME will only be around $60 -65K entry. They are going to be in for a very rude awakening.

If the product is solid, good tech, well done interior, strong performance I'll be good at 80k. I mean your saying with TT, DCT and so on. For me I dont need a ton of options cause it's a weekend car anyway that goes to the quarter here and there.
