Default No hint of C8 at LA Auto Show

Did anyone notice the lack of ANY hint of the ME C8? So far I only saw reports of the GS and the ZR1 (like they need any advertisement at this point). This tells me in no uncertain terms not to expect any formal announcements next month in Detroit, the earliest, perhaps in April in NYC.

Oh, you guys didn't get the memo? They're revealing it at a little local mom and pop Chevy dealer by @Zerv02 's house, also sorry but it starts at $170K. Not $169,900.

I think people who predicted the LA reveal went into hiding.
And no doubt, once the C8 ZR1 makes its debut (down the road), you will be able to option it easily up to $170K.

Oh totally. No doubt about it. You can get a 3ZR ZR1 ZTK up to about $150K now. But we're all focused on the Stingray base model for now. That starting at $170K would kill the Corvette. It amazes me that anybody believes the bs he spews. Even more amazing is the fact that the mods haven't deleted or at least locked the thread yet. Probably becuase of all the traffic the site is getting becuase of it.

Well, there will Be an outpour of love and affection for the C8. It also doesn’t hurt that most people will be off from work and able to see the news of the C8’s reveal.

I heard that it will be covered pre-reveal by a full size Hershey Kisses wrapper

Get ready for a C7 for 2020 model year. some kind of commemorative/427/colors/special/pricing blah blah.
The C8 is not ready otherwise we would be hearing something, even a little!
GM is aware of the NSX release debacle and is not going there.
Even a low volume is more profitable than a too early release.
Everyone is saying whatever the next car show is the one.
What would happen to all the people like me waiting with a deposit if GM said it's delayed a model year?
It's then a 2+ year wait.THAT is why no leak of C8 info.
A lot of us will just get something for now and maybe C8 later.
No inside info just instinct.
I am raining on my own parade
