1/19 is the first public day.

Press days are 1/14 - 1/15.

Charity preview is 1/18.

5 minutes on the website would have told you all of this.

Try again.

Who said anything about the Detroit Auto Show? I just gave the date of 1/19/19......like 1/13/13 for the C7 reveal.

4/20/19

Because you have to be high to believe some of the theories surrounding this car.

Why would they 'debut' the ME car in early 2019 when it has been pushed back to a 2021 model year? Seems a bit premature, doesn't it?

First, there's no evidence of the car being "pushed back." Second, the linkage of MY designation to intro date or even production date has become very loose.

2019 production started in January 2018.

Yes I do believe the actual car will be at the New York Auto Show, however I do believe the car will be revealed /acknowledged by GM way before that! Detroit Auto Show is still a possibility. I am sticking with some kind of reveal in January. April is just too late!

NYIAS is my guess. Detroit will be about the Silverado HD/Sierra HD, and I think Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Escalade.

I find it hilarious that all these posts in this C8 section of CF know nothing at all certain about the C8, just a bunch of rumors. This has to be the best kept secret in GM history.

And Jan 1 2019 they can announce this:
From my other post

Get ready for a C7 for 2020 model year. some kind of commemorative/427/colors/special/pricing blah blah.
The C8 is not ready otherwise we would be hearing something, even a little!
GM is aware of the NSX release debacle and is not going there.
Even a low volume is more profitable than a too early release.
Everyone is saying whatever the next car show is the one.
What would happen to all the people like me waiting with a deposit if GM said it's delayed a model year?
It's then a 2+ year wait.THAT is why no leak of C8 info.
A lot of us will just get something for now and maybe C8 later.
No inside info just instinct.
I am raining on my own parade

Because we haven't heard anything as of yet from GM, doesn't mean the car is not ready to reveal.GM is just going to wait for a January announcement. BTW...no 2020 C7!
