Does GM's recent design "flubs" with the newest Camaro and the new HD 2500 worry you?

I think the HD pickup design looks better than the Camaro SS front. At least the lines flow together. The Camaro SS front end is just a hodge podge of angles.

I think the Corvette has definitely lost its grat apperance saved along years with the c8, I dont like it as seems too much to a Ferrari even in the sound, what a pity!

I think this is the Sierra version. If so, they will really eat into Silverado sales.

Nice pics, really, but I don't think the design decisions of people in GM trucks has much to do with the C8. I'd be surprised if there were any cross over at all. So no, none of these designs "worry" me in the slightest. They're pretty irrelevant.

That looks light years better than the Chevy.

The rear spoiler on the widebody versions looks goofey, and the ZR1 is a total abortion.
To me the C7 ZR1 with its large bulbous front end and enormous spoiler looks more like a hastily done retrofit.. Way overdone, Like you, other then that awful looking chrome bar in the front grill I think the smooth clean lines of the base or the Z51 Stingray are both the nicest looking C7's out of that group.

Huh?
You don't realize the purpose of "its large bulbous front end and enormous spoiler?"

Nothing to be confused about. I understand its purpose., I'm sure there are differing opinions on this . For me, I don't like it's oversized looks compared to the Stingray..

Oh, OK, I get ya now...you're looking at it only from an aesthetics POV.

I don't exactly like ugly parts, but I can live with them if that's the most efficient design.

We many never find out if the ZR1 face warts are made that way strictly for function; or GM also felt a need to visually differentiate the ZR1 from the lesser cars, instead of being more subtle. Often times, what they think is "cool" or "tough" is actually "just plain ugly". As shown by the truck front end.

That 2020 HD is absolutely the ugliest thing I have seen come out of Detroit since the Aztec. How the hell that got approved as a design, blows my mind. Ford must be laughing their asses off.

Whether you believe the ZR1's front fascia was designed for aesthetics or purpose, Everyone has their opinions on this but to me and others I know it looks weighty & unconforming to the balance of the car.. It has the look of an aftermarket retrofit. Have to wonder if it altered the near 50-50 weight distribution of the car.

Regarding the ZR1 design it's 100% function over aesthetic form. It's the only way to package the side mount cooling required to cool 750-800 horses with track use. They couldn't afford for the car to be a 1 lap wonder after the Z06's misstep.

I doubt it alters the weight balance in any significant way.
Besides, 50/50 weight distribution is NOT ideal for a RWD car.

I wouldn't say the old Malibu on top is "beautiful", but compared to that thing in the bottom pic it looks like a Maserati.

I like the bottom one better, but they're both ugly.

Agreed...they are both boring, if not ugly.
