so this guy has the scoop but furman, conti or anyone else from dealers with much more clout than this guy/store seemingly know nothing. GM hasnt even admitted the car exists and is going to extreme measures to keep whatever is running around shrouded in secret. but some guy who maybe sells 10 corvettes a year has all the answers
sure
sure

So a plant running under 30% capacity will build a car so expensive that once the initial gotta have it is over will drop said capacity to near zero.
Right.
Right.

this is the same guy who leaked the c8 front fenders way before anyone knew anything ...... sooooo...
( he did think the front fenders were the rear so maybe he doesn't know what he is talking about! ; )
He IS very confused about the ZR1 deal so maybe he got his wires crossed with the C8 info too. $ 149k base C8 it will die a slow and painful death...they can park all the allocations at Mary's house!

This is the same guy who leaked them, and couldn't even tell which end of the car they were from.

The 992 is a $120K+ car now (before you fatten it up with options). If the C8 comes in around that number. someone is going to step in and fill that $70-$120K slot with a competent sports car.

I can't believe there's a few people who buy into the notion that the next gen Vette will be 2 to 3 times the current starting price. In a way it's good as they'll be pleasantly surprised when it's around 60k and they can save six figures lol.

This salesman slips and tells the starting price on the base C8 Corvette and that it is going to be delayed. If this price is true I would go out and by a C7 or C6 ASAP! because the used Corvette market value is going to go way up in value.
Starting around 12:30 on the video. I hope he doesn't really know what he's talking about

I wish I could laugh with you, but lost too much money on these money makers. I know, I'm doing it wrong (buy new and sell them after they depreciated), but who has patience to hold them for 50 years? Mind you, I'm not bitter, did get a lot of enjoyment out of them.

$120k is for the 911s. Porsche has not announced pricing for the base 911 which is currently $91k. I figure the new 992 will be right around $100k for the base model. The Cayman GTS is in the low to mid $90k now so I’m sure Porsche wants a clearer price gap between the two particular when they most like will increase power from 370 to close to 400hp IMO.
