They are not calling the new ME Vette' the "Manta Ray". It's a slow moving, harmless docile animal that would be the poorest possible representation for the most badass Corvette ever made. It's just such a crock of **** and the fact that it was reposted by (what I thought were) some legitimate news sites is pitiful. The poster made a random, anonymous post-- I mean, to give that any real "credit" is insane. The only way I could see Manta Ray fitting in the Vette would be a widebody kit or something like that for the Stingray. Maybe that's why it was trademarked a while back? Company's trademark things that don't come to fruition this happens frequently.
