So they space them out so that one new vehicle doesn't take all the oxygen in the room of the others.

GM will show the car when its best to show all of its new models. You guys are too focused on only one. GM is looking at the big picture.
I just hate it when someone comes on the forum and makes a logical and rational post.
There's just no excuse for that...

Isn't the median age of a Corvette owner right around 60? Lot's of retirees watch morning shows.

Ed was just using the morning shows as an example. Stories will run on cable news, evening news, late night news, you name it. NYC is the media capital of the world.

Detroit is rough because of the weather. However, despite the weather most of the time it is easy to travel there by car, there is plenty of parking, there are plenty of reasonable rate hotels within a short driving distance of the show, meals are reasonable and it is just as good as the NY Show. I used to live a 3 hour drive from NY and an 8 hour drive from Detroit. I attended the Detroit show 3 times over a period of 4 years in the early 2000s. Never even thought about going to the NY Show due to the high costs and the lack of parking in the City.

That's the beauty of mass transit. I normally park in Weehawkin at the ferry and take the trip across the water. 10 mins after arrival I'm at Javits. If I need to get around, hail a cab or uber/lyft etc.

The ferry ride across the hudson rocks to see the NY show without driving in.

parking in the ferry multilevel lot is self parking and nice and wide spaces for your corvettes...

i usually go early sunday morning but if the c8 reveal is going to be in NY...ill go friday instead....

Im a little bummed the new c8 isnt revealing next month...but hey thats life...

april is only 4 months away...ugh!

Nice to see it being discussed, we mentioned NO on Detroit a while ago and New York as a logical, emotional choice too on our channel, now we all wait, still!

Cause it's a workplace, not an attraction. And they don't need sneaky people taking pictures.

So let's assume the C8 is introduced at the New York show. April 19th through 28th. The BASH is scheduled for April 25-27th. Cutting it kind of close aren't they? What are the odds that the new C8 will be on full display at the BASH? If not, what are they going to showcase? Another year of the C7? Boring!

Will be a huge bummer if no C8 at the BASH since planned to attend my very first one next April to be a part of history.

Since GM has been kicking the can down the road for quite awhile now, there is no telling.

Love to see at least a peek, maybe a few spoken tidbits at the Chevrolet sponsored Detroit Grand Prix on May29th. But, after that embarrassing crash heard around the world last year I wouldn't blame GM for skipping the race entirely .
