Why no “it has Camaro taillights” threads this time around?

I rather like the C7 tail lights. I'm hoping the C8 will pay homage to them. Some of the renders have done a very good job of this. As for round? Let it go or buy an old Vette.

It would be cool if you could change them to either the <<___>> look or the classic oo__oo with two sets of LED's installed. The circle might not mesh as well with the styling for C7 and C8 though, and I think most people that disliked the C7 rear was because of the blocky look that was a turn off, not the tail lights alone..

If people are still complaining about about the C7 tail lights 6 years into the model run they seriously need to re-evaluate their lives.

So you knocked her up and had to buy/marry her. Over the years you love her but she’s still ugly.
Nobody needs to re-evaluate crap. 💩

Please, don't get the C6 fruits going on tailights again. Would you believe some of em still won't buy a C7?!

The C8 lights actually appear to carrying the side scoop style theme to them from what I can see through the camo and with the remote. Like I've sad before, I like what I'm seeing.
I mean I could go out and buy a C7 full in cash optioned decently... but that would be rather stupid of me to put myself in that position at this stage in my life. need to get a new daily and get settled in a permanent work position after school first. And the 84 is plenty fun for just tooling back and forth to the boat and weekend cruises... you know when I have time lol. I'm running myself down currently trying to get ahead and comfortable.

Put a bank of LED's in the *** end and let the driver configure them however he or she want's, round, square, shape of a vag, whatever.........problem solved.

I'm with Schuyler et al........some people have run out of excuses as to why they're not in the clearly superior C7, even after 7-years! So now, many have transferred excuses to the not yet released C8. Strange.

^Meh, I'm sure it's superior in many ways, but I'm just not a fan of the whole rear end's appearance. Front and side views are sexy. They didn't have to use circle or oval tail lights but to me the back of the C7 looks like an afterthought.

People are used to the c7s ugly butt by now.
Nobody has really seen the c8 so there’s no consensus yet. From some of the mule photos I can tell it won’t be as pretty as a 458 so I’m already prepared for a GM-styling letdown (ugly rump included) when the final surfaces are revealed.

The C7 tail lights are terrible, they always were. This is a C8 forum so complaining about the C7 is fair game. It's a renewed topic because many of us, if not most, don't want the C8 to have anything in common with the C7, aka Cormaro.

You win the dumbest post of the day award. If you are mistaking ANY Camaro for a C7 from the rear, in ANY light, or ANY distance, you need to get your eyes checked.
