C8 will be at NAIAS 2019

It's would just be simply dumb for GM to keep it as a surprise so that no one pays attention and finds out days or even weeks later. Not everyone checks for Corvette news on a daily basis and when was the last time even a car enthusiast kept up with the latest news on every make and model out there other than the ones they are mainly interested in? We all know that GM would be pre-promoting the reveal probably months before it happens so they have millions worldwide streaming the event when it happens.

Interesting timing for this rumor ...
Mark Reuss, a major Corvette guy, was appointed the new president of GM two days ago. Regardless of what WAS previously planned, he might feel that the NAIAS is the better choice. Maybe he’d like to kick off his presidency with a splash of positive publicity for GM after so much bad press. I could see him up there on the turntable doing the intro, as he’s done before.

Anyone familiar with what has happened historically at the Hall of Fame segment of the show? There's a Hall of Fame presentation on the 14th at the very end.
Tried to look it up because I thought to myself (and now to the forum)- IF you're going to honor a man (again) who had a major impact on the auto industry, like say Zora Arkus-Duntov, it would be pretty fitting to also reveal the car he dreamt up right then and there.
Or are the good folks at GM not as sentimental as I think

NAIAS seems to be on life support this year, with the change to a warmer month in 2020 they need all of the good news possible. After the massive GM layoffs the mood in Michigan is not too sweet , bring on the mid-engine Mr Mark Reuss.

C8 Corvette Reveal
I suspect that Zerv02 is a Russian Troll and he has nothing to do without elections on the horizon. His $169 K prediction was total fiction. I also suspect he doesn't own a Corvette...…….
Zerv02- get on the Ford websites and leave the good Corvette people alone.
