Notice it also says the Cadillac “could return” and there is no word from GM on this. Just a leaked keyfob.
Just another blog spouting BS to get ad impressions. I wonder how much money that site generates with “articles” like that lol

Interesting..................very interesting...........
Perhaps Cadillac will take over the GT aspect of Corvette and leave the sports car mantle on Chevy.

Cadillac needs to get their house in order. The last thing they need is another car to divert their attention away from what they should be focusing on.

Cadillac sells less cars than Audi. Audi is reportedly canceling the R8 due to lack of sales.
What makes fhem think this is a good idea? They should be focusing on CUV’s and SUV’s, that’s what the market is asking for right now.

It would be the first time a car blog/mag published a story with no basis in reality. Cadlllac is focusing on SAVs.

“...so here’s a rendering of the luxury roadster and everything we already know about it.”
A rendering. Just a rendering. Nothing more than a rendering.

Well, Cadillac DID sell about 15.5K XLRs fr. 2003 to 2009. That's for a six-year run, averaging about 2.6K units per model year. Whew!

You may right it is just a rendering BUT i think i remember another post from some guy who sore Cadillac and Corvette would both be coming out the same time with mid engine cars. NEEDLESS to say he was bashed up and down that he was crazy. Wait i remember he said he knew someone who knew a guy who told him this info about the Cadillac And Corvette being introduced together.

It might have been an idea kicked around 2-3 years ago, but in light of GM's recently announced restructuring, I suspect the last nail has been put into that coffin.

It's not even a leak. It's a blogger that is straight up speculating on something with zero information behind it. This is a step below the bloggers that just write about what people who claim to have inside sources post on forums..lol

Hey... maybe the ME car running around is Cadillac's ticket into GTLM... don't they already pretty much dominate DP?

Maybe, just maybe!
“A new patent from GM shows what could be an interesting new feature for the Corvette. One that might even explain the reported delays before the C8 car arrives for our viewing pleasure. Power-open doors, with an application drawing that sure looks like a Corvette.
The application was filed way back in June of last year, but it wasn’t published until just last week. Maybe they were trying to hide it in the holiday lull? Well, it didn’t work because it was found by the folks at MidEngineCorvetteForum.com.”
