Default Revealed C8 details

GM has been using design characteristics on new cars and trucks that have already been released to the public. For example the new Silverados some what match the newer Tahoe (also tundras). C7 corvette with the last generation Camaro, and the new horrible Camaro refresh looks like Mitsubishi Outlander.

So after looking at all of the leak photos and designed drawings and drafting from forum members. The new C8 matches the Chevy Cruze. The tail lights are a little more narrow and pointed like the Blazer’s. But the Cruze tail lights when illuminated match the C8R’s in that leaked video.

When you say "match" does that really mean "looks nothing like it at all?"

“Match” = “a lot of resemblance”.
Sorry to hear about your vision impairment. Bless your heart for trying.

Sorry to hear that.(could care less) I like to discuss all things great about corvettes and be open to flaws and criticism about every model. Everyone for the most part has great ideas and opinions. I also like to post things in this forum that helps other forum members. Sometimes it takes a catchy title to get a click. Some times you will get negative attitude people (like you) that come along. It’s in every forum from this one to even Tesla’s. So it’s your loss not mine.

You cared enough to reply...This C8 forum has proven this untrue. Misleading title to get a read = clickbait. It's not just him/her...

I made a similar statement in the thread with the Chaz renders.

The '19 Cruze, '19 Blazer, '19 Camaro, and C8 corvette all seem to be incorporating the same major design cues. It is deliberate corporate branding, which is sad because that stifles creativity.

They all have the same hockey stick tail lights in different configurations. The license plate placement with bumper surrounds are not all that different. They want all Chevys to be recognizable as Chevys without regard to the model.

I would venture to say the front end of the Camaro/Cruze/Blazer are all very similarly designed as well - this isn't limited to the rears of the cars.

Even the Silverado has major carry over from the rest of the lineup. Its brand strategy on display.

Looks like a Camaro.

I see what you mean. Just like the Cadillac’s head lights and tail lights throughout their entire line up.

What's with the clickbait title of this thread? Wasting everyone's time.

That being said, I agree that the C8's taillights should not resemble any other Chevy/GM car if it wants to retain brand image with the Corvette. The C7's taill ights resembling the Camaro were borderline ok, but they could have done A LOT better with the C7's tail lights, IMO.

Hopefully this thread will be locked. Creating a post with an admitted, misleading title just to get you to click in to it is the very definition of "click-bait". There is no need, nor should there be any tolerance for this here. Post a genuine title with relevant information, or please don't post at all.

Yet you provided ZERO information. Everyone is hungry for C8 information, so you must be very proud of yourself for clickbaiting. It's pretty juvenile behavior. BTW, wth is "ethonal"?

And the OP provided Zero "revealing" information.

Oh well, the C8 certainly has provided ample fiction, speculation and opinions for all us forum dwellers to be "entertained" by!
