Many Lambos and even Vipers have the pedals pushed to the left or right to accomodate wheel wells and transmissions. A great many cars, have cramped seating compartments to accomodate the design of the car. Mirrors often in funny spots, wipers that don't work, switch locations that don't make any sense. All for the sake of styling. These oddities impact the number of people that can and will drive the car. So, sales go down and prices go up. Often, styling gems aren't even meant to make money but act as an moving advertisement for 'look what we can do, buy a X'. The result, no one is going to design a major styling innovation into an every day driver. This means the price goes up in order to try and make some of the money on designing the car back. You end up with a low production halo car. So, yes, styling is solely dicated by price and yet at the same time drawing and molding some body panels doesn't cost that much.

Simple example.

Mens suits.

Which would you prefer if someone was giving you one of these suits.? The one that fit you best and looked best on you...right

But if you knew one of these cost over $100,000.00.... would you pick the "cheap" suit or the expensive suit....

Point is... they both "look" essentially the same...and function essentially the same... but one costs $100k and one cost $200 dollars.

The difference is not the cool look... it is the materials and craftsmanship... and HUGE brass ***** to charge that kind of money... God bless em... : )

It is not price that dictates style but the style that dictates the "uncomfortable" performance you describe.

Lambos heavily raked windscreens and aggressively angled windows... way to low to the ground stance making getting in and out almost impossible as well as almost undriveable if the road has any natural bumps let alone driveways or speed bumps.

Here style and form win over function. But not because of price. because of the cool factor. Again, there are repro cars that "look" cool but are not AS cool because they are not real.

It does. Taking nothing away from the Ferrari, but I still like the C7 style better.

I'll take the C7 Z06 and GS over just about any of the late model Ferraris, they aren't as appealing as they used to be. Some of them have really hideous rear ends.

It's all a matter of personal taste.

Your going to need to add about $100k before your close, and then add taxes it's over 100k higher then you think. You'll feel stupid in 3 days. Sorry.

like the side profiles of the italian gals but the front and back not so much

butter face butter back only a side not so good for the $

c8 will start out a bit more plain but pretty good on the $ and not so high maint going forward

if it kick **** and sounds good, I can forgive a few misplaced ducts or off lines here and there in the name of airflow and functionality

sheesh hire pininfarina or whoever you need to and make the vette a beautiful car again.

I think there is work to do there.

Damn that Ferrari 812 is gorgeous. Makes the C7 look like a plain old Chevy.

Hah! Not much difference between the two. But the C7 is a better looking car in every way.
