Nah, just couldn't resist the opportunity to give some back to the C8 troll. Don't judge.

I have seen the camo covered photos which of course tell very little However there are rendering photos out there wether real or fake that show the whole car in paint----Which seems to match the camo photo body lines very closely--

Haven't seen this photo yet But look at that front end It is UGLY and the rear brake ducts are so massive that the back of the car is out of porportion The wheel wells are so huge they look like the rear end of a SSR truck----No photo of the back but how can they tie in those huge wheel wells to make the back look right ?

That's ridiculous. None of the Corvette models are trash.

Right but what you are missing is the chance that the camo cars have some fake/test panels on them that the production car will not.

Going by the test mules, if the car turns out looking like this, I don't think anyone will complain, do you agree?

That right there is ugly, has zero call backs to any Corvette generation ever, and screams 15 year old kid with Photoshop. The current renders of the C8 look great, because they look realistic, even livable. We all want super exotic looks and features from our dream cars, I get it (my ultimate dream car is a Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster) but the Corvette has to function as a Corvette.

People will bitch and moan about design and looks until the end of the world, because everyone has an opinion and everyone feels the need to push their opinion on others. For me, the C7 was a game changer as every previous Corvette was kinda "meh" in my opinion, but the C7 looked exotic and fresh. The C8 will likely look every bit as fresh when it is finally revealed. There is a ton of speculation, and people already "hating it" and that is their prerogative, mine is that I am already sold, hell I was sold when mid engine and Corvette came together in one test mule.

Perhaps to you, and many others but to me it never registered as such...that's the thing about opinions, I know you have been leading the charge against the looks of the C8 in the renders because you don't find it appealing, that's fair, but your opinion is no more valid than mine. While the C3 Vette is not ugly, and I want a chrome bumpered one for my future collection, I always found it to be less appealing than a '63 Coupe and not just because of the value of such cars.

In my eyes this is sexier

Than this:

As for the C8, I think the car is gonna look fantastic, go like stink, and generally be a car I can daily and not feel like I am making any compromises when I track it. I think the renders are close but in the end the real car is going to have the minute details that make the real thing "pop" in person.

I also think this is the best looking modern supercar:

So yeah...

Looking at all the latest releases of the secret photos of the C8 I did not get the same feeling at all .
To me It looks like the front end of Prius with the short ugly squaty front end ( where as a Lambo has a longer sleeker front end) and the mid to back end of the car reminds me of my fathers Dodge Magnum wagon ! Sort of boxy and bo concept of flowing sleek lines--
We have to be honest Yeah we all want a mid engine Corvette but these photos of the C8 to me if not changed are hedious---- The whole side of the body lines have no flow as the C7--The front end again looks like a Prius--Maybe in 3-5 years the C9 will look much better--But as of now ?? I am hangin on to my C7 It is pure art and with it's perfectically designed body lines will be hard to beat with that ugly C8--
That's because all you've seen were renderings and camo'd pics, wait until you see the real thing in person, your opinion just might change.

That Ti-59 that replaced my slide rule didn't look the same but was better.
The TRS-80 (first delivered to my R&D Lab in OH) didn't look like my Ti-59 calculator and was bigger- but better.
The IBM XT Desk Top that replaced the TRS-80 was larger but better.
My current iPhone and iPad have more power than that IBM and allow me to access technology from around the world.

Form Follows Function! Most will learn to like it regardless!

Of course, to each their own. Shinoda did an excellent job interpreting Mitchells Stingray with the 63 Vette, but due to chassis and packaging restraints, it was not as beautiful . Mitchell interpreted two Italian cars for his masterpiece. I incorporated Mitchell's Stingray and the rear of his Mako Shark II designs into my design which I think is lovely. After all, it's just for me.
As far as the most beautiful current design, it's hard to say, but we live in most exciting times as far as cars go.
I saw Peter Steven's XJR 15 up close and personal, and I thought it was just breathtaking, but that was 1990.

The yellow car didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it because of packaging.

I too liked the XJR.
Normally aspirated V12 by Cosworth in this new AM is incredible

True to harsh of a statement but owning ten of them since I was a kid - 1979 being my first and owned at least one of every generation up till now - nothing comes close to my C7 (meaning 0 issues) unlike others in the past
