To each their own - this is the feeling i get from the 911 dash. Just put a console on the floor from autozone and away you go - well with out the window cranks - or the steering wheel which is now apparently in the C8.

That's not the actual steering wheel. These pictures were taken quite some time ago, maybe early 2018, and we're just now sold to carscoops. Contract is probably over for the Supplier who snapped the pic. The only thing that can be taken away from this is the logo, nothing, not even the spokes, match the official steering wheel.

So all those who were hating on the C8’s alleged wheel or its controls earlier can take a time out.

The car is still full of pre-production parts, not been certified for production (massive understatement). Your comment Zerv02 about that earlier picture being the wrong steering wheel was something I had earlier.

THIS IS NOT THE C8’S STEERING WHEEL:

I'm not a fan of the C8's ski slope divider either (but only because I prefer more open interiors), but it's not the first sports car to have something like this. Case in point, Porsche 918 (and most Lamborghinis:

Well if it's "not the actual steering wheel", GM went through A LOT of trouble to mock up some temporary, pre-production buttons/switches and they did a really nice stitch job on the leather wrap, both on the wheel and the airbag cover, for just a one-off test mule mock up...

This blind fanboying for Zerv02 is getting ridiculous. He got ONE thing about the entire car correct. He was wrong about the reveal, and was wrong about most of the stuff on the interior as well. And now hes trying to say that a steering wheel that looks fully functional, appears to be in production ready form... is not the REAL ONE??! Why would GM go through all this trouble just to trick us? If they went through that much trouble to make a detailed steering wheel like that to supposedly trick us, how do we know this ME car driving around isn't just some Ferrari or Huracan with a different body?! I'm beginning to wonder if Zerv02 isn't some random kid in Idaho that has too much time on his hands.

it is literally the same stitch job as the tahoe wheel. The buttons aren't presently in any gm vehicle I've been in but that leather wrap and stitching came from wherever the tahoe has its wheel done. That I'll bet on. It also isn't lit of the realm of possibility that that is a prototype wheel. However I'd bet that it's pretty close to what we're seeing.

basically, standard issue GM om the wheel.

Before the 5th generation Camaro was revealed....a photo of a hideous dash/gauge cluster was leaked. Turned out to be the real deal.

Nothing else in GM's line has the "squircle" steering wheel. This is the real deal. May not be the final production part, but that airbag leather and stitching with the emblem sure looks production. Just because a part is "pre-production" doesn't mean it's not what the production part will look like.
