Looks are obviously subjective... but to me, the FT-1 was absolutely gorgeous... the Supra I see now lost many of the features I loved about the FT-1 and just looks bloated compared to the FT-1 concept.

Exactly it's a turd. They took the lovely concept and made it "fit" a Z4 chassis.

No but in all seriousness, the big three do sometimes coordinate not stepping on each other... or not. What would look better, GT500 and C8 at the same time or the C8 getting the spotlight all to itself? IMO, they play a very delicate game.

Genesis (Hyundai) is sneaking up quickly on a lot of manufacturers. They do a great job of "borrowing" the best styling cues from everyone else, and producing very eye pleasing designs. It's quite a coup for them to win the 2019 Car of the Year Award.

Supra exterior isn't too bad IMO, but totally disappointed by the interior. Never been a fan of BMW interiors to begin with, and that thing is basically a 100% BMW interior with a Toyota-logo steering wheel tacked on.

That is 10 times the amount normally sold by the Corvette. GM isn't going to sacrifice Cadillac just so the Corvette can have the spotlight at the auto show.
GM's bottom line is helped more by selling 360K Cadillacs vs selling 36k Corvettes.
GM can now show the new Corvette at a different venue, get all the spot light, and not take away from Cadillac's new EV SUV.
