Yeah it sure makes it tough to get an idea of the final design. Those side scoops are sooo hideous. I wish they'd at least remove the camo on those so it would give us hop for a more styliish looking C8.

Neato, but they've got so much crap on the front of that car you can't make out anything "real". I'd say the N-ring cars with the swirl camo wrap are the best representation of the actual design; the only questions being what will be body color vs. blacked out. These recent mules have foam blocking under them making the features very basic.

I still find these spy shots more realistic to the actual design, the Nring cars look to bulky in my opinion and you can't make out the car lines well.

Yep, that's what camo is supposed to do. Mission accomplished, GM Camouflage Division. It's an evil mind manipulation technique designed to lower expectations so much, that once revealed the real car will be astonishingly beautiful to most.

I was wondering about that as well. Sounds almost like a horse neighing.

That's called "camouflage", it's used so you can't see what the car looks like like. Oh wait! You've seen it uncovered?

Have to disagree with you a bit here Foosh. You can still distinguish a beautiful car even with the camo on.

Beautiful design

Ugly design

I so much want to love the C8 (and expect I will) but this picture makes me sad. The C8 looks clunky and blocky in this photo compared to the amazing lines of the 488. I really hope it is just well placed and excessive camo.

The Ferrari is a lightly camo'd GTE version of the 488, which we already know how it looks, the pre-introduction pics of the 488 hid everything about it, just as the the pre-introduction shots of the C8 hide all of it's details.

You can tell that the side scoop ain’t protruding out as much as some of those other spy shots want you to believe. Almost flush with the car.

Dont be silly, that’s the air inlet for the single turbo.

My two biggest concerns, 1) Hoping the hideous side vents are just decoys, and 2) I need to see some shots of the front from the side view. Lambos fronts are too stubby for my liking, I hope ithe c8 has a longer front like some of the higher priced exotics..
