I've talked to a group of Powertrain test engineers last year up at Laguna Seca testing cars from the Yuma test site. All those test cars were testing new powertrains by putting thousands if not millions of miles on them. That's the process. All test cars have a number code on their windshield and rear window and these test fleet IVR's all have chaser vehicles that are typically Suburban's. You guy's just have to think outside the box and accept the new C7.5 or C8 FE coming. By the way all these cars will be crushed. Remember, all test cars are future product that can't be talked about.
Or maybe, just maybe, they are doing what every single Corvette and other car on the planet has done since the history of time and simply benchmarking the old car against the new car.

That's possible but not probable as they have a massive amount of data analysis on ride and feel that are collected by sensors all over those cars. You're thinking of the old days besides they can do that at Millford and not drive these cars all over the country!

Yes... they have sensors, but I guarantee you the engineer is driving the cars back to back to back and comparing his old fashioned butt-meter and how the car feels in his hands. The tactile sensations are what matters after they've crunched all the data. They can tweak the EPS response, the mag shock calibrations, throttle repsonse all live on the fly. They could take a canyon run and decide the 911 did it better, tweak, repeat, then take a highway and decide the C7 was more supple, tweak, retest, wash, rinse, repeat.

There is no new FE Corvette coming.

No way! it's the super secret track-pack convertible with the parts bin Z06 spoiler bits and really has a blackwing under the hood and the A10.

Fooch! Im afraid you are acting quit unsavory! The analogy of as an onion rotting in a dumpster comes to mind. I am loathe to say this as this not a identity article, and I am sure not a social authority, but you have the same effect on a conversation as Shaka. You are so sure you’re correct that you do not see the merit of any alternative opinion. Please, for the sake of the many others in a conversation, try to tone it down and open your eyes. We will all get along better.

Hey Shaka, can you believe I've offered to help Tool in his Home Building dilemma. After all the abuse I get from the guy. I'm going to potty train him in how to deal with his builder.

It was an analogy to illustrate a point. I'm not building a house currently.

All. 95 Vette and Blazer (Tahoe) and my award winning FLW adobe type design. The 2 dwgs were for proposals on the same site which were 'off' the grid.
