Somtimes software updates to infotainment systems have files like these buried in the software because several vehicles use the same software. So someone could have dug thru an update for the trucks and found this.

The new logo reminds me of the USF Bulls logo. Sort of a C7.5 in terms of logo evolvement. A little more vertical and it seems they just folded the flags over and connected them.

Maybe it's time for GM to settle on one Corvette logo and carry it into new generations. Personally, I like the C7 logo better.

If that is the new C8 Logo, then it truly lacks creativity for the single biggest engineering change (Mid-Engine) in Corvette's history!

For some reason the bottom of the new logo looks like the front of the hood of the Aria FXE to me

Nothing is crooked....these are crossed flags (supposedly blowing in the wind, as due to the "furling" on both flags).

Come on guys....you have nothing else better to do?????

This is exactly what I was thinking. The C7 infotainment system software is shared with just about everything GM builds in the US and beyond. The C7 specific graphics are only switched on at the very end of the programming process. It defaults to the Cadillac graphics otherwise. The image format looks very similar to the C7 startup files.

Well it happened...for once something I prefer about the C7.

The beak in the middle of the C8 logo is vaguely reminiscent of the Buick Skylark. #vomit

Crooked? Really? They're two flags blown back by wind.

Boot animation has been posted. I can't link it directly, so you'll just have to go to their page.

https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/top...on-new-script/

Here's a little bit of tech talk.

The C7 cluster images were 800x480, which is a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Assuming the truck site hasn't messed with the file too much, the C8 graphic is 1280x768, or 5:3 aspect ratio.

So we can infer the C8 LCD will be wider than the C7. But it doesn't seem wide enough for an all-digital dash. I'm still not convinced this is for the cluster at all. I think it's from the infotainment system. That'd explain how they got it early, since those files would be shared with something like the new XT4.

I made this quickly comparing C4 through C8 scripts. It looks like the C5 script with a different R and split up Ts and the center bar of the Es touch as in a solid letter vs. the C5.
