No. Most street legal race car enthusiast don't buy them based on cargo space.

Luggage space has been the hallmark of the Corvette since the C5. I think it will reach the point of compromise with the ME C8. In order to compete with the 911, the golf clubs will have to go, unless Chevrolet has somehow managed to find some space behind the engine. Might be similar to the space in the C7 convertible. Pure conjecture, of course.

Will the lack of space is the question. Do we know what space it will have? No we do not.

Ha ha ha! The reason I bought my C7 Z06 WAS so I could haul golf clubs! One of the main selling points of the Corvette over other sports cars IS THE CARGO SPACE! I think the lack of cargo space IS going to cut into the ME car’s sales (besides the price bump, which I think will be substantial). I believe that is one of the reasons why you don’t see V-8 powered, low-priced, ME sports cars. I still think that there is a possibility that the C8 Corvette will be FE, and the ME car something else

^^^ So, you could only wait 7 posts before answering the question to thread that you started (while using it as an opportunity to show off your enviable car collection)?

Look at the long rear deck lid, no other reason to make it that long. I guarantee they have a trunk behind that motor. Corvette team will figure a way to add space that will be closer to the C7 then we expect.

The original NSX comes to mind on having enough trunk space for golf clubs. Can’t think of another.

I have faith there will be space, but perhaps not for golf clubs. But this is a good thing because the younger crowd doesn't play golf. IF GM is, indeed, trying to ditch the Baby Boomers, not having space for golf clubs won't hurt them. As a Boomer myself, I couldn't care less if it has room for golf clubs. An AR-15 has a collapsible stock, so no problem!

Here is my theory, the red is the engine and transaxle. The blue is the potential storage space, less any requirements for a crumple zone.

How do you know? Have you seen it? Have you tried to put golf clubs in it? Until you can confirm this is nonsense

The new one has enough room (barely).

If they design this car around the ability to haul golf clubs, I’ll cry.

If you place two golf clubs out of the golf bag and place them in the trunk a full set of golf clubs will fit in the trunk of a NSX.

I dont play golf so i dont personally care.

I know a couple who have seen one. One world for Chevrolet at the plant.

The other is a dealer.

The Chevrolet employee said TWO sets of clubs will fit.

Thw dealer said 1 set no way a second set will fit.

It will have some storage. How much? That's the question.

The answer is of course. If it doesnt have adequate storage it will crush 2nd 3rd year sales and beyond after initial hype wears thin.
