Black wheels on ANY VEHICLE remind me of the 80's after someone popped your wire wheel covers.

You bring up a good point, whether serious or joking. I’m not sure if it’s been discussed or theorized, but it sure looks possible there may be some room for rear storage in addition to the frunk. The more practical they make it from that perspective, the better.

The 405 and 110 are terrible lol...

At least they seem to be repairing sections of it tho finally

Even my tiny ME Lotus Elise had a trunk (of sorts) behind the engine. There was no front storage as the radiator took up that space.

But see, you can get a bag of golf clubs in there.

Too funny... my neighbor down the street has an orange Evora (the one with the small back seat). It's a nice car and he drives it nearly every day.

There seems to be no limit to the number of chodes who like to ruin cars with black wheels.

If it's that or chrome wheels that went out of style 25+ years ago, I'm taking black.

It's a hell of a lot better than chrome. Chrome looks out of place on the C7, there's too many black accents. Keep the chrome wheels on your truck with chrome bumpers.

Guys lets not derail this into a wheel finish thread. There's a reason GM makes them silver painted, chrome, and black.

Black wheels are over done at this point. They are on every brand car and remind me of spare wheels and tires. You can not see the detail of the wheel from far away. Give me chrome or gun metal gray wheels.

Saw one in the mountains east of San Diego (Julian) on Christmas Eve. I've been hoping for another glimpse ever since!

Some of the best mountain roads in the Southwest are in San Diego County. I have seen a C8 once on the mountain roads, and have seen the transport truck repeatedly in the same area. I know the truck by sight, because I work about 5 miles from the GM test track in Yuma. Its there, I'm just waiting for a chance to snap a pic.

Exactly. Almost looks like rear engine instead of Mid.

Anybody curious as to what kind of SUV is beside the rear C8? Looks to have some interesting parts also.
Maybe testing the next tahoe/yukon/escalade and hoping the C8 takes the attention away?
