Uniforms don't do anything except make prettier marketing photos of the assembly line.
Eh, its been my experience that good workers will work well in any dress code, and crappy workers won't. TO be quite honest, I hate "business casual", either let me wear jeans and a tshirt or require nice business clothing. Nothing more dreadful to me than khakis and polos.

Lots of ways. When you are talking about handmade parts, custom tooling, dealing with suppliers who have lead times, it can easily take months to get a problem taken care of.

WE had an EMC issue at a previous job of mine on a comfort feature ECU. The fix was done in a couple days, we sat around for two or three months waiting for new PCBs to get made and populated and new ECUs to be built to test. Wasn't a heck of a lot we could do, the supplier making the parts was backed up and if I recall correctly new connectors were on backorder. That was for a rather small unit that didn't control much.

Yeah, agree, but it's a compromise.

Default No Delay - Not announced

How can there be a delay for a product that has not even been officially acknowledged or announced?

Yes, in commercial aviation, uniforms are necessary on crewmembers onboard an aircraft because of passenger perceptions. This thread is a testament to that considering how many think BGA workers should be wearing them.

I am starting to think that instead of delayed it may be a head of schedule. Maybe in the early development it was internally designated to be a 2021 model, but things went better than expected and they saw a possibility I’d bringing it out as a 2020 model. So they changed the internal designation to a 2020 model and are now rushing to bring it out to meet the new updated timeline.

.
You sound like your work uniform is jeans and t-shirt. Yes, t-shirts and jeans are a form of uniform. The Harley Davidson rider guy with the Harley Davidson corporate store brand issue apparel, and the silly chained wallet, engineer black boots, chaps, and bandana - is IN uniform. The ultimate non-conformist, in strict conformance to Harley garb.

There's nothing more uncomfortable than the traditional suit and tie or sport coat and tie. Golf shirts and khakis with casual shoes are a Godsend to the workplace. These days; "Nice business clothing" sounds like formal rented apparel the t-shirt and jeans guy might rent for a wedding every few years.
