My choice is invisible paint.... I just got verification of delivery early may, but cannot post pics, as it does not photograph will... sounds good, though.
Most likely go with the premium red or unique blue. The color depends on the trim on the car as mentioned twice above. Can never go wrong with Torch Red either.
If the C8 is littered with black plastic C7ish vents all over it, like a gold colored rendering in another thread has, I wouldn’t have to order Black. It the finished car has a smooth, beautiful, blemish free body, amd hopefully it does, I will probbaly order red or blue, depending on the available color selections.
My first choice, would be Cyber Gray Metallic. Second choice Arctic White. What I would really want, is for Gm to offer a PTS (paint to sample) like many of the high end manufacturers are doing. Porsche, Lambo, Mercedes, BMW. You can pick any color, and say for $5,000 they will paint it anything you want, factory.
GM is "too GM" to ever offer paint to sample. I just don't see them being able to execute it like Porsche and BMW can. Dodge could do the "1 of 1" program with the Viper because those cars are hand painted basically.

I agree that the best color will depend on the design of the car. For the C6, I love dark blue (like Lemans Blue) or red. For the C7 that has black vents all over it and black halfway up the rear fascia, the only color I like at all is black. I can't see picking a color until you actually see the real car.
