That Ferrari is pretty awesome. Google the Ferrari J50 and you'll see where the original concept came from

Love the front, but not the back.
FWIW, I doubt the front of the C8 will look as refined.

At least Ferrari has their **** together and unveils their newest tribute that looks amazing.
All while GM still has their head up their ***.

Melting Slicks
Love the F8 looks incredible, not a fan of Turbos and prefer the higher revs of the NA 458. Ferrari is at the top of their game with what they are pumping out of italy.
Let's think about something. GM is not the same company since the bankruptcy, I think that is a good thing for everyone interested in their products. When the C7 was being designed GM was struggling and the C7 was almost killed and was never a clean sheet redesign.
Today GM is a better run company with a tremendous amount of competition, I guaranteed the corvette teams goal is to make sure this car is the best corvette that they have ever built. In the end this is a good thing for all of us and I would rather they figure it out before customers get their first cars.

The only sense they look alike is the the same basic layout of an engine in the rear, vents nearby, short wide front end. But in that sense, most front-engine cars look alike as well. I think people just aren't used to seeing mid-engine cars so they think they look the same.

As far as GM "messed some stuff up", you got it, the C7 is not a perfect car.

I can't help but think the designers at GM must look at the F8 and say to themselves: "If only our management let us design something like that".

Burning Brakes
Is it just me or does it seem like GM always seems to make the front and rear bumpers as large as possible resulting in some very long seams? I hate the rear bumper to rear panel seam on the C7. I'm sure the design aspect lost to the cost aspect. I see on the Ferrari that the hood comes down further, thus minimizing the amount of cheap plastic that is brought up to meet the hood. Just sayin.
