Looks like it is driving backward just standing still.
Color so so, not my choice, looks faded.

Not to mention, part of the curved roof looks like 911
The back could look like a bag of arseholes and still look better than the C7.

The vast majority of Corvette owners are baby boomers anyone who attempts to claim otherwise is simply ignoring reality.

The Corvette brand can no longer depend on us to keep it afloat it must attract a new generation of buyer in order to survive. That part is clear, if the survival of the Corvette brand depends on the baby boom generation then the Corvette will surely die.

Here’s to the C8 being a success with the young generations for those who can’t afford a Ferrari.
I agree. The c8 SHOULD appeal to the next generation of car enthusiasts. Gone are the days of simple front engine, RWD slight innovation that will sell mass produced cars. Mid engine, AWD, 500+ hp base, fully featured is what the C8 needs to be to break into the next generation successfully.

From my experience on these forums, most of these old guys will never willingly leave their comfort zone but eventually come around.
They'll be dragged kicking and screaming once they realize their preferences aren't reflected in real world sales.

Hey junior - if it wasn’t for us old farts there wouldn’t even be a new Corvette for you to get excited about! You’ll learn a little humility when you grow up, grow older, and maybe mature.

It has four wheels, headlights, windshield, doors and side air intakes so yeah I guess they look exactly alike

I just love the tops of the fenders and the way they land on the doors. I know, I am crazy to think that the ME could reflect some of these details but I just had my Blue Moon.

The canvas covered mules look better. Those waiting for the C6 rear end with spooky circles as tailights are going to be waiting a long time

I agree - that maintains the design history and continuity from my C2. I love it!

It looks like a Dodge Stealth from 1991. I actually owned the 1994 3000GT brother as my first car but the last thing we want is a backwards step in modernity of design.

Classics are beautiful and the C2 is one of the prettiest cars ever made if you ask me, but it is not even close to the direction any large automaker should be going.

Oh, and LOL at John T. for posting this napkin sketch for the umpteenth time. Right on cue, John!

I was talking specifically about the detail of the fender crease lines flowing into the door. Nothing about that is generationally limited.
