Our first look with the frunk open!

Look down the middle of the hood, you see a distinct line. Fake panel obviously covering the front hood. I pointed this out when the car was at the Nurburgring.
I point this out again because many of you don't realize that there are at least 10 of these fake panels all over these mules. Hood, doors (in at least 2 different locations per door), scoops, rear quarters, quarter panels windows on hardtop and vert, rear window covers, etc.
This thing is highly concealed by super thin panels that misdirect everything.
Further, these camouflage guys (from what I have recently heard from my source) have even possibly been using mounting spacers for certain elements of the car to do stuff like make the headlights appear to sit taller than they do on the production car, etc. He said it was only rumor, not even first hand knowledge himself. Easy to wrap that and make it look seamless I suppose. If you look at the C8.R the headlights don't appear to stand up so much like they do on the street cars. Maybe the guy is right. Could be BS too.

I'm still surprised how tall the car is for a ME. It has a lot of vertical real estate over the wheel wells like the C7. I would have expected it to be lower/sleeker, but I guess that gives you frunk depth and in the rear room for a trunk in the very far back.

Looks good to me. Maybe they don't want to be scraping the bottom on every bump that they hit.

That is most likely the brake fluid reservoir.

There will be a trunk at the very rear like the Acura NSX. Behind the motor and over top the rear end/trans etc. That's why the exhaust is down low and wide.

That NSX trunk isn't too bad. I could live with that, and it appears to be about the same size as the C7 convertible, with the top down. You can get more room in the C7 vert with the top up by unsnapping the partition that separates the folded top from the rest of the trunk.
It also looks to me the C8 mule butts look much larger than the NSX, so perhaps there's more room in the ME.

Either that's a very small driver of the C8 or the C8 is a LOT bigger car than I had imagined.
