Default Saw them too!!!

[QUOTE=bbc=540;1599089793]Hey Guys - for what it's worth, I was working at my home office today and a group of 6 or 7 camoed C8's went by my house @ 10am Friday 3/22. I live in the foothills of NC near some great curves that's also close to the NC/VA state line. Seemed to be followed by a white SUV support vehicle. I immediately jumped in the car and began the pursuit but with so many different paths to take... I was not able to find them. I have spent the last hour and a half looking but nothing. Such an exhilarating moment but without the payoff! Anyone else have recent sightings near me?[/QUOTE

I followed them to the Residence Inn behind Modern Chevrolet where they were immediately covered and guarded Friday afternoon around 7.

Well... I couldn't help myself, so after seeing your response I jumped in the car and had to go investigate to see if they were still there. And I think you mean the Hampton Inn as that is what's behind Modern Chevrolet. But as it turns out, they are no longer there which really sucks! So close and yet so far away. 😟

they are still near you OP, they have to have a garage there that is rented that they can tow them back to when they have the module glitches or whatever the trouble is.

They were spotted today just north of you again today, one at Pilot Mountain, pulled off on the side of the road, may have had the glitch where it gets towed.

If you happen to see one on a tow truck, or on the side of the road, try to follow it and figure out what shop they are being taken to for inspection...

i have a feeling they are going to be in your area for a while, they go up in the hills there just north of you so that if/when they break down there are no photos being taken as the population in that area is thin.

I did see the other post where they were spotted on 3/24 just north of me about 15 minutes in the small town of Pilot Mtn, NC. So hoping that I can still catch them out! On the prowl!!!

Mike another of your theories stated as fact. How do you know that GM has a rented garage for the purpose of towing broken down C8 too?

From what I read on this tread that they are at the Hotel parking lot covered and with security watching over them.

If they had rented a garage why would they not take them.there and store inside and secure overnight rather than parked in a hotel parking lot ?

Another theory of yours that is nothing but your imagination that you state as fact.

How about simple saying I think or maybe GM has a garage to diagnose and repair C8 issue in the area.

That would be much better than your habit of stating things as a fact only later to be incorrect in your assumption.

^^^^^^

My reply to Mike in a different thread about his "garage" thought plus his general lack of knowledge about North Carolina:

i figured out why i'm not excited by the little i do see-It is the ROOF PILLAR!
imo it should have been narrower and dramatically sloped back a-la-Lamborghini or Ferrari.

Did they take the wrecked car from vir back to the hotel parking lot too? You think they have to park all the cars on a lift at night? My point is they have access to a lift to get to suspension and anything else they need to get to. Its my opinion, but do you really think im wrong?

Yes...you're wrong.
These are validation drives. This is note taking, telemetry reading, etc...They are not coming back from a day on PUBLIC streets and throwing the cars on lifts and making changes. That's why the cars are taken to TRACKS.
If they did wreck a car at VIR last weekend, I will promise you it was loaded in a CLOSED transport and taken back to Michigan...NO ONE in Danville or anywhere in N.C. got to see that car (non GM people that is).

i agree it could have gone to michigan. Check the other thread, no point in me posting the videos twice, unless you really want me to. The things you get angry and argue about are nuts to me. I guarantee they have a lift to get under the car if they need to get to something. Maybe they have to swap out a wiring harness somewhere, or some component... to say they have no lift is crazy... my opinion.

IBTL on the second N.C. thread.

Here's the world according to Mike:

"Hey Tadge, it's Frank. We're in Mt. Airy visiting Andy Griffith's house and the dang C8 won't start. So, we had it towed to our super secret garage and got it up on a lift. It was the #9 Fetzer valve sticking and the blinker fluid sensor was shorting out".

"Hey Frank, good job. I told you guys to keep an eye on the blinker fluid level. It gets low and all hell breaks loose."
