Here’s why I think the order sheets are real
These seem to be real ordering sheet information.... the only legit argument against it not being a genuine C8 order sheet is that it is for some sort of “revamped” C7.
The way I see it is no way GM makes as significant changes to the C7 as adding a DCT, coilovers over the LS setup and engine upgrades, a front lift system, new colors, etc...simply because the C8 is a year past what they hoped it would be and the C7 is continuing an extra year or two.... that is some MAJOR engineering to be put to an aging platform that is not selling nearly as well this late in the run. Especially when their R&D efforts and money are being put into whatever this Mid engine car is we see testing. Why waste the energy and money on all of those upgrades for a single maybe two at most model year run??? That makes absolutely no sense.
What is more likely we would see is some sort of “special edition” Bull $hit that may include some stickers and stripes to give what little bit they could to boost those final production model year cars... oh wait that is EXACTLY what we’re seeing with these BS “Final Edition” and “driver’s series” cars that are no different than piecing together already available options that could be configured anyway.

I just looked at the fleet order guide for 2020 and the only car listed was a Spark. https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/dmdindex.htm#

Because this is a “Forum” and we are here to discuss a multitude of topics on different levels all related to the C8. No one knows any official information at all.... and for all of the information shared here in the C8 section to be under a single thread.... I for one would have very tired eyes by the time I got to the end of that thread. That’s why we have “Titles” in a forum... if the title describes a specific topic of no interest to you.... please do not click it. If the consensus is that my thread is irrelevant to the majority on this forum.... it will quickly fall off the first page and disappear into the masses of similar irrelevant posts as I freely admit many of my other posts have.

Alls you need to reference are the tire sizes and Front Lift System leaked on the sheets. C8 all day. The deleting of the original revealing posts/thread, and the lock down of the Wow! thread, confirmed that it was indeed the C8.

my experience is, with all models, manufacturers do not offer fleet deals on new models in their first year or 2, nor do they offer employee pricing.
For instance, VW, when the crosstrack came out, employees could not get employee pricing on those nor were there fleet deals.
c6 for fleet, sure, maybe after its 3rd or 4th year of production as they could not get rid of them at that point as quickly as they had hoped.
it does not cause me any concern that the c7 nor c8 are on the fleet website. Maybe im missing something.

"Those additional units, according to Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles, include exports and captured fleet cars that were sellable units."
I could be wrong, but i think that is a term for dealer/manager demo's that are punched as a sale, to make a months quota, and/or put in as service loaners

i will stand pretty firm that manufacturers do not offer fleet discounts for at least the first 6 months of production where rare/hot cars are concerned, and i say AT LEAST in all caps.
They have no need to discount cars at that point, they are getting over sticker and sticker for them.
Not only are cars excluded from fleet discounts, they are also excluded from having any incentivized programs, as far as interest rate or cash back.
Call someone who works at a dealership, they will confirm this, its a matter of fact at this point.

GM sells all of their vehicles as fleet for the commercial, government and rentsl car markets. I purchased government fleet for about 20 years and had good relationships with fleet sales teams from dealers of each of the big three. Never had any problem buying the latest model of any model, but then I never had the budget or purpose to buy Corvettes for the fleet. I doubt the fleet price for a Corvette would be much lower than retail invoice, except maybe to Enterprise Rent-a-Car which has over 1.2 million cars, and up until a year ago it’s own Chevrolet dealership.
The C7 has been available for fleet since it was introduced. Several rental companies have had Corvettes available on a limited basis for some years now.
