Today...C8 REVEAL 7.18.19 Cool Pics/vid to discuss :)

Just got the email.
Looks like HM just crossed me off the list of potential buyers. If i wanted a midengine car, I woild be buying a Lambo.
New Supra looks pretty good right about now. Maybe an AMG GT or used Viper. Or just do the smart thing and go 911. Lucky my C6 has plenty of life left in it.
RIP Corvette, sad to see you turned into something youre not.

Pretty lame showing by team Corvette today. Nothing special about seeing the car in camo at this point. Even more so because it is very unflattering.

It was obvious all along that it was going to be a mass produced next generation Corvette, not some halo car. Also it was clearly mid engine as well. Which seems to be your major gripe.

Wow, this is great news.......I can't believe I'm going to be able to buy a new mid engine Corvette with a dual clutch transmission for less MSRP than a base model Camaro ZL1 Coupe!! Hard to believe GM can cut us this great of a deal and value.
So how long does everybody think it will take for the hype to die down so we don't have to pay dealer markups of $20k-$50k and push the price closer to or above $100K? Six months?....maybe a year?
Dinner on me to the first ME Corvette buyer that can pick a unit up for under $65K before July 4th, 2020

And by dinner, it's not a Banyon dinner, no soup and half a sandwich, that's not a meal

I think thats a fair gripe to have. Screws up the day to day packaging for an every day sports car. Makes diy working on it a huge pain. Overall, just not the layout I want in a Corbette, like I said if i was going ME, it would be a Lambo.

Can someone post a link to the start up sound. I’m apparently an idiot and can’t find it
